Depends on what you are looking for.
Different States have different legalise for them, some only have marriage.
Committed Relationships are normally between same sex partners.

A committeed relationship is called marriage! Anything else is not. I mean you can call it whatever...but marriage is two people committing to whatever is most sacred to them that they are committed to each other for the remainder of their lives (or until they get divorced). IF you stay together for any length of time then you will become common law married anyway. So why not do it and be done with it...No sense reinventing the wheel...is there?

committed relationship has no law behind it so you 'd get nothing legally unless each of you made a will. And you'd have to decide if you had children what there surname would be yours or your partners. So by marrying your covered more law wise that just being committed.

Committed relationship is nothing more than moving in and living together- and leaving is easier than marriage-- marriage is a LEGAL commitment to one another sharing joys and pitfalls of togetherness being there in time of need -- committed people will leave ( in my opinion) as soon a problem arises--
