You lead a women on to make her think it's going some where when it's really not, and instead of being the man you claim you are how come you guys are never man enough to tell a women that. You say you don't want to hurt her feelings by telling her, but being distant, and unavailable emotionally is just as bad. You say I don't want to be with her in that way, but I will have sex with her. You say I don't want anything serious but you keep her phone number just incase someone else does not come through for the night.

How are men able to do this, and #1 not feel any regret behind it, and #2 say the last thing you want to do is hurt her feelings, but everything you do ends up hurting her feeling because you have no emotional connection to her.

Last when a girl is fortunate enough to do it back to you, why do you get so upset? We are just doing what guys always do.

Is 25th a big anniversary? I was thinking of throwing my parents a surprise party? I have no idea what to do. It’s a whole year away, but never too early to start planning right? I was thinking about renting a ballroom at a local hotel? Having deserts? I'm newly married and don't have a whole lot of money. Anyone have any good ideas, or suggestions?

Well turns out the girl I like is really shy so ****. Hell maybe she's just really uncomfortable when I'm around because she doesn't know me. Anyways. I have 5th lunch and she has 4th. I'm thinkin of goin ahead and skippin class 4th and approaching her with her friend and try to hang out with them. I suppose I'd start the convo out like this.

Me: Hey Crystal! Sup
Her: Hey not much
Me: Well I don't feel like goin to class, and I don't know many people 4th period. Is it cool if I hang out with you guys?
Her: Hopefully a positive response.

I've only talked to her 3 times. I hope she doesn't think I'm tryin to stalk her or something. Man any help is appreciated. What should I do here? We have no classes together. But I just found out she has the same passion for music that I do. She plays guitar. And I play drums and guitar. Please help me here!

Do girls like it when guys have confidence like this and make an attempt to go ahead and have lunch with you and your friends?

whats this mean, please help?
ok about a month ago, i spilled my guts to one of my friends, told her that i like her alot, and all this stuff, shes only 13. well she wrote me back and said she hasnt ever seen us as more thanfriends, and that she dont like me like that but she dont want it to ruin our 8 year frendship.. well..over the past month, I've been avoiding her, simply for my sake, just simply not to bring those feelings back up, cuz when I'm around her they all come back. but she emailed me yesterday, and said she was sad, becauze it was straining our friendship. and she wants things like they used to be, well i told her why i had been avoinding her, and she said she totatlly understood why. well, I know she dont like me like that now, but am I crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the future, cuz she was obvioulsy ( she said) she was really sad, seeing us like this, and since shes only 13, am i crazy to think there mite be sumthin in the next year or two? she also said, " dont take the rejection to heart

and for those who say, I am punsihing her, I am not in any way. We have had very friendly discussions, and she understands why, things have been this way. And I have reassured her, promised her, that I will make things the way the used to. Do u really think I want to lose the friendship as well? I mean, that hurts.

I would really like to know

I believe there are multiple reasons (in no particular order) why there are less "traditional" marriages in households than there have been:

1.) Homosexuals living together that are not in a traditional marriage - domestic partners. They cannot get married (except for Massachusetts).

2.) It is getting more expensive to live. People that graduate high school and college have less money (when adjusted for inflation) than in the past. They need to take on roommates and are quicker to rush into living with their "significant other" prior to marriage.

3.) Sexual/societal changes with regards to sex. People are more willing to try a sexual partner and make sure that they are compatible before marriage.

4.) People will live together for a time before getting married in order to make sure that they are socially compatible with regards to family values (taking out trash, throwing clothes on the couch, dishes, laundry, finances). It has its pluses and minuses.

5.) Women are now getting closer to men in economic equity (although I believe this will never be achieved in my lifetime). I believe it is up to $0.80 per every dollar that a man makes in the same position on average. This has allowed owmen to more freely live "independent" from men and have more choices about their own lives. This also follows in the previous point that people can try out a partner and still be able to be on their own in case it doesn't work out. Women are basically becoming more impowered (before I get backlash, I like the fact that there is more gender equality for money. I like my girlfriend when she buys the movie tickets and I buy the dinner. I make more money so I spend more on what I can - I'm an engineer, she's a teacher; just a fact of life I will make more).

6.) Teen pregnancy is down across the country (thank god), but pregnancy by individuals between 20-30 who are not married has not declined. This has caused people to move in together so that they can support a child. The other option is abortion (I won't go there) or adoption.

Lastly, the sentiment of "why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free," is losing its credibility because I have noticed multiple women who are on the prowl for a partner just like a "traditional" man. I think we are in a more sexual environment (for better or worse). People want friends and loved ones to be close so they live together. With the country getting more crowded, people are getting more roommates and living with people they like (or love).

Thank you.

I am caucasion, and my boyfriend is african american. We have been dating for 1 year now, and everything is good. I am his first white girlfriend, but I have always dated black men. I have started to notice certain things about him. I found a box of pornos in his closet, but they were all of black women. Also, he makes comments about my 'flat white booty' and that white girls don't have sexy bodies like black girls. When we go out, everytime a black girl walks by, he stares and makes comments under his breath. If we have an argument, he always says stupid stuff like ' if i leave you, i'll go get a sista'. Why is he interested in the exact opposite of what I am? I really care for him, but deep down I feel insecure. Why does he do this?

So throughout life you learn a lot of things about yourself. Some things help you find yourself, other make it more diffucult to do just that. I'm at a point in my life where I'm very confused about who I really am. I believe that I try to be who others need me to be. And unfortunately I'm alright with doing that if it'll make everyone happy in the end. But that is only going to get me so far. Eventually I am going to have to know who I am before I can truly let anyone else know me. You know that saying 'You have to love yourself before you can let others love you'? Well I've always been like, I do love who I am, so I'm fully capable of letting others in and loving them back. However, how can you love someone you dont even know. I don't know myself. There are so many things about myself that I have yet to figure out. But now, more than ever, is the perfect time for me to "find myself". So can anyone help me figure out how to do this?!?
