I met this guy and he's sweet and kind and nice and smart and makes me smile. PERFECT right? Well he has cancer and i dont really care because i like him. but i dont think he likes me and i've been talking to him aloot and he seems to care and he hasn't been mean to me and he stood up for me(so sweet ) but again dont know if he likes me. should i just give up on him?

My brother in law hates me. But no love lost really. He doesn't like the fact that my husband has started going to church and doesn't do the same things he used to before he met me. He is always sneaking around and trying to convince him to go back to his old ways. It makes me really mad-------to the point, I can't even stand to see him come around. And we have had words many times Which is really hard, because he just lives two doors up from us. I know things that could get him in trouble with the law or social services, but I am trying to let God handle it. Should I just sit back and keep my mouth shut or go forward with the stuff I know.

She is looking at big college campuses only in large cities. I know everyone says the college must "suit them" and I agree. However, she is not that outgoing , can be a little shy and I think a smaller campus might be best. We get along fine but she is a teenager and I am a Mom..:-), if I recommend one ..I KNOW it will only mean the kiss of death, before she gives it a chance....I really want her to have a good , fun and positive experience...Any suggestions ,especially from young people...on what to do?
How would you want your parents to handle this..without making it seem as if they were pushing their own agenda ,not yours!!!

should i contact my daughter to ask if she would like to see her 9yr old daughter,supervised of course,or should i leave well alone, as my daughter has never asked to see her,she went on to have two younger kids, taken from her by social services,they are my 9yr old grandaughters half siblings,i couldnt take the other two children as
i find it hard enough,but it upsets me terribly, my daughter just doesnt seem to care,when i try to help her,or talk to her, she tells me its her life &she can do what she wants,& ive to get lost! shes nearly 30yr old,what a waste!!!!!!!

A few weeks ago, I've been fretting on about this guy, who was spending a LOT of time chasing me. Later I realised that he had a girlfriend and I came to the conclusion that the best thing is to move on and I started sort of seeing someone else. We spoke less and less and now he tells me that he split up with his girlfriend so that he can be with me. I'm not sure what to do because I haven't told him that I started seeing someone else and feel guilty that I might have wrecked his relationship. Now where do I go from here..?

My girlfriend and I are recently on a break. Shes 18 im 21. We spent a lot of time together and she said she feels like shes too dependent on me.

At the start of this break we were still in contact and even went on a few dates together and had a lot of fun. I was hoping she would realize how much fun we can have together and come back to me but it doesnt seem to be working.

I'm thinking of putting alot of space between us for awhile and see how that goes. maybe she will begin to miss me and realize she's made a mistake. If not, at least i would be on the track to getting over her.

Any opinions on this?

The customer service lady at Food Lion told me she still takes a shower with her 13 year old son. I asked her if he was retarded and she laughed and said "no, we are just cool like that". I guess I was kind of shocked because my mom stopped bathing me at age 8. I figured i would ask to see if this is okay or not.

My neighbor has 2 girls around my age which is 15..All the time I catch him looking at me touching me with his wanker. His wife will come outside and ask him what he is doing and he tells her to shut up and go inside..Whenever we get in the hot tub or pool he will brush against me and untie my top so he can tie it back again.I told me parents but they say he is just being nice..And another time I was staying the night with his daughters I woke up in the middle of the night and he was lying next to me butt naked..I screamed and he ran away..What do I do?
