I met this guy and he's sweet and kind and nice and smart and makes me smile. PERFECT right? Well he has cancer and i dont really care because i like him. but i dont think he likes me and i've been talking to him aloot and he seems to care and he hasn't been mean to me and he stood up for me(so sweet ) but again dont know if he likes me. should i just give up on him?

I'm sure he appreciates your friendship. He obviously has a lot on his plate at the moment and he might not be looking for romance. At times of trouble people need support and love but not necessarily romantic love. I'm guessing that he doesn't love you romantically just from what you've said.

Can you even imagine the fear he has in regards to having a relationship? I would suggest that you continue to be his friend. He has health issues to try to overcome. He probably would not feel comfortable to ask you to go out right now.
I would imagine that he needs your friendship right now.

A person who is ill like that, tries to push others away because they don't want to hurt them. Stay with him, and try to get him to understand that you will stand with him no matter what happens. He NEEDS someone who loves him. Tell him you love him. Maybe he does love you. Stand by him, that is what he needs.

i would say stay with him. he could just be under stress because of the cancer. and the possible prospect of dying from it......you could have a real positive effect on his life. and possibly turn it around. sounds like love to me. if you feel its safe to be around him. go ahead. if you find any evidence to the contrary you can always pull out later on......lots of luck...........

noo...the last thing a person diagnosed with cancer needs is for people to start giving up on him. even if u cant be with him romanticly...stick by his side and be there for support and comfort even if it is just as a friend

really you just answered the questiong yourself what make you feel that way it looks like he hasnt done anything to make you feel that he doesnt like you so dont give up on him but if you really feel so cautious take it slow and watch and listen and observe and if he doent really like you it will come out

I think you should go for it. Usually, if I like a guy, I end up losing interest in him. If you've been liking this guy for a while, I don't think you should give up on him.
