My otherwise good husband has this habit of speaking rudely at times. I am a very sensitive person who gets hurt very easily. If there is something he has to say then he just says it without thinking about my feelings. Also his behaviour at times is rude. Like he will simply turn up the vol of the TV while we are speaking. Sometimes not respond to me while I am asking something. In between our conversation he suddenly starts doing some work etc. He will very rudely point out my mistakes in housekeeping like ' Of all places on earth why is this thing kept here?' etc. I have an 18 month old baby now so it is not possible for me to take care of every little detail. I wish he would be a little more understanding and soft spoken towards me. I have tried talking to him but then it all ends up in arguments that leave me feeling sick. I want to know what I can do so that he understands that I need gentler treatment? Is there anything I can do without telling him directly or arguing?

My grandmother is in her 80s, a widow, and one of her friends just died. She keeps saying how lonely she is, even though she has other friends and family in her life daily. She is badgering my single aunt to move in with her and refuses to sell her house, even though she can't keep it up anymore. Worst of all, she is mean and cranky toward us, her loved ones, no matter what we do. Every time we visit, she gives us guilt trips about anything and everything. I know she's unhappy, but what can we do to get the crankiness to stop, and how can we convince her to move into a retirement community?

My husband left me last September and now there is talk about us trying it again...We have a 6 month old son who lives with me and has since he was born. I think that being with my husband would be the right thing for my son and I for many reasons but I am wondering if I am doing it for convenience for stability, money, and support? Any advise?

I really like him alot, but all I do is travel back and forth to his house, and him to mine. I had asked a similar question before about this. I have a little girl, and I believe he is afraid of any kind of further committment because of this. I have been married once, and I have been totally committed to our relationship. I just can't figure out why we haven't gotten any closer in our relationship. I would think that the next step would be to move into together, or something to make our relationship a little more committed. I have had people make comments about how they need to "Get one like that" in reference to him having a woman that comes back and forth to him, and he still has his freedom and his house and nobody there to tie him down so to speak. I want to be in a more committed relationship. I have been asked out by another man, he is a little older than me, but he is so serious about me. He is very good to me. He knows my family well. What do I do??

... are so different when you look into them, and for a lack of better words, your eyes just click?

you know the 'windows to your soul' saying? I know a man and his eyes are so deep when we talk it's comforting. It's like a wierd bond, I swear there is some crazy platonic thing going on between us which I don't think I've experienced before.

To note: No, I don't want him- I am interested in someone else and this guy has a family.

I just don't get why it's always celebreties and athletes and musicians who get blamed for the mistakes their children make. Parents need to pony up and take responsibility for their children and their actions.
