I have a 13 year old daughter and she is starting to shut me out, she tells me I am too strict because I will not let her or her 12 year old sister have a cell phone, a my space or go to the store alone ( we live in Southern Calif, close to some bad apartments, gang/drugs) I want the best for her, I started having them both take music lessons, but my 13 year old has no interest in doing anything to better herself, it really bothers me, all she worries about is how she looks when she goes to school ( she is also not allowed to have a boyfriend) I am afraid she is going to start sneaking around or lying to me. Do you as a young teen have any ideas? or parents of young teens. Thank you.

.....Single Mom.....need to stay home with my son for right now.......need cash assistance but they require you to work for the county to work off your cash assistance. There is no such thing as just taking welfare checks to stay home on your ***.......I've worked for 18 years.....and I am home schooling my son this year to catch him up on his math (as they push you through in public schools.......whether a child really passes or not)......Only one year desired to stay home with him.....but just because I'm home schooling him doesn't exempt me from working for the county to work the assistance off.......Might as well get my own job......That's not the problem...finding a job......I've always worked.....and can find a job anywhere.....liscensed hairstylist......certified piano teacher......

Oh, any smart aleck answerers are of no concern to me.....so don't waste your time............

There's me, Carl, our beautiful wife Milly, I'm the 2nd. We have 2 adoreable kids, Carl's Kevin (4) and my Linda (2)(according to DNA test)
It's begun about 7 yrs ago, when My best friend came from his honeymoon. He said to how fun it was, and that Milly was a 6000 volt girl. Then 3 months later he rushed to me and said "please help me, I can't handle Milly alone, I can't do anything alse but sex" He said he loved Milly very much and don't want Milly cheat on him. He spoke to Milly, that he'll find some help, and she said OK. Then Carl invite me to join in. As I saw Milly, suddenly I knew I'm in love nad vice versa.
After 6 months having this kind of relationship, I felt that the love between me and Milly grew stronger. Carl knew it. Then with his blessing, we married, of course we cover Milly's status. Our marriage life is so wonderful, we care for each other.
Me and Carl do the join business, and it grew rapidly. Milly getting lonely, and ask us to invite the 3rd man to join in.

I find myself coming across a lot of couples. Some seem to be made for each other, while others seem like they need to just move far, far away from each other. I have never been in an...intimate relationship in my 21 years, but I may or may not have been close to one. As of right now I don't see a relationship as being anything I want right now. My friend on the other hand wants one though...why? What is in it for him? What's in it for you?

My girlfriend and I have been on and off for the past year. Everytime we go on a break she has messed around with someone. I have too, but the only reason I get with other girls is to make her jealous. She does it because... well I dunno why. But technically she has never cheated on me, but I feel like maybe she would since she has done stuff with other guys while we were on a break.

I have been married to this man from 10 years. I have been giving more to his name, fame, prestige and to the family more than him. I feel that I have given much much more than I ever got. I had bad times with my parents and now it is my husband. why is it so? is that my destiny? I have decided not to go after anybody( I never did that) Is it ethical to stay with him and still not love him. My husband pleads that I have to stay with him for the sake of our child (whom I love to death). How do I cope up with such a dull life.

When you first get with someone, they act different. They are nice and sweet and then when you are with that person for a long time, they just stop noticing you. It feels like you aren't there anymore. Why is it like that most times?

Its just a question...and no I am not off my meds...lol.
I just wanted to ask people over 30....do they think life is quite hard, or quite easy....say than 30-40-yrs ago?
Reason I picked people to answer over 30....Just a better age group for such a question, anything under...can be seen as a
unpredictable-age-group.....because of the many changes to their life.....Thats all.

Say, your girlfriend left you over a lost floor plan paper and you were realy angered by it. Now you want to forget her, even though you always see her everyday.

She's got me wrapped around her little finger, and I have to do everything she tells me to.
I do all the cooking and cleaning, and when she snaps her fingers, I come running, and I am not allowed to talk back to her.
She makes me wear womens clothing around the house, which I am not allowed to leave.
I have to do EXACTLY as I'm told, or she punishes me.
How do I get out of this situation?
Oh no! Here she comes!
Gotta go!

Social, Mental/Intellectual, Phyiscal, Sexual, Spiritual, Emotional.
I'm writing a paper on the importance of ideals in a relationship and would like to see what others value highest and lowest. Don't cover up how you truly feel, if Phyiscal is most important to you than share that! If it's Spiritual, so be it! Don't hide from you... Thanks for your time. I appreciate your contributions to my paper.
