I think it's possible, if you talk to this person enough and get to
know what they're like. Do you have any feelings for him? How
can it be lust, since lust is based on physical attraction, and you
said you've never met? Do you know what each other looks like?
He could be falling in love with you, because he's attracted to what
you've been saying to him so far. Lust is temporary, because eventually
looks will fade over time, but the personality can last a lifetime.

Hm. I don't think it's lust or love. I think it is simply attraction based on personality, and that's a GREAT thing, to build on. In order to be in love, I think you have to have atleast seen them, to even see if the connection was there. I can't imagine claiming to be in love and never having had eye contact; to me, eye contact is where the magic happens. I'd tell him to cool it, you like him, and it may be strong, but there's no possible way the two of you could be in love. If this is an internet relationship, I'd be careful. I'm not telling you it's wrong, I'm just saying have your limits, watch the information you allow to be known. For your sake, anyway.

I do not think it's possible, however, I know someone who says felt in love with someone over the internet , made plans to met at a hotel. Oh yes you read that right!!! had sex that same night they met and started living together a week after. It's been about a year now. I still don't trust that guy! By the way that happened to my 47 year old aunt . gross :O

Might be or might be not, thing is that it is possible to fall in love when someone talks or chats to you a lot and the things you are telling them about yourself are attracting him or her. The problem is you dont really dont know wether you should love him back or not cause you dont know about whatever he is telling you about himself is right or not. Most probably its just attraction as he might not have much friends or just ended some relationship and was desperate OR maybe its nothing and he is trying to make a fool out of you or trying to just past his time. Its very easy to make people believe about your nature and stuff when they cant see other person. I have been through that. I was in love with a girl I met online. She loved me too a lot (as she said) but she got bored as I stopped sending her gifts and all and left me. So be carefull.
Love & Peace ^_^

Well that depends. I met my late husband over the internet and fell in love with him and him with me before we ever met. But we also had been talking on the net for about 8 months prior to actually meeting. The first time we met, he proposed to me. We lived in different states too...he in NJ and me in FL. It can happen and does all the time. It just depends on the idividual persons.

It's infatuation.
Infatuation is temporary. Love grows over time between 2 humans, not 2 computers.

well it depends on what you have told him if he actually knows alot about you make this could be love. but to tell u the truth if u aren't falling in love w/him then mostly likely this is not love.
