I agreed with Free Angel totally. I'm over 50 and now I take life easy as I'm more careful with the money I spent,
not like in my early 30. I budget my spending and never spent more than what I've.
My present motto in life is:
" Coming to term with my many failures and in the process, awakening to the reality that life is short"

If you invite drama into your life it will consume you and distract you... Let your friends settle their own stuff, do not try to take sides or get in between them. It is their stuff that is causing the problem, let them work it out or not.. you are not responsible for any one else's behaviour but your own. As far as failing, it is a lesson to let you know you need to pay more attention and be more diligent when it comes to school. Learning is the easy part, wanting to learn and being open to be the best you can be is the hard part. You have to believe that you can achieve anything you put your mind to and do not let anybody or anything get in your way to get to your goal.. You have let yourself down you have robbed yourself out of being the best you can be.. So learn by your mistake and try not to repeat it again.. Hit the books and do not stray from doing what you must to get to where you want to go.. No one but you is going to do it.. so just do it and suck it up... Walk your own path and don't follow anyone else's.. Be a leader and show them how it is done...

Yes, life nowadays is much tougher than last time. Everything goes up but never come down. The life in the past is simpler coz everybody don't have much demand whereas nowadays people will kick up a fuss over small things. So times change and we must get used to it

As I get older I see that alot of problems that people have are self inflicted ones. It's like they have no common sense and haven't learned a thing. For me, life is easy; I work, pay my bills, budget my money, take care of things as they come along and stop and think things through before acting on them. There's no need to make things harder than they have to be.

Back to the question, I am 30-40, to me , life is not easy in Singapore as adult & a parent, however, we have to live our lifes.
To make life easier , my motto is :
1) Take it easy (as much as possible)
2) Seize the day (u never know what'll happen next)
Good luck, God bless you !
