I feel that in any relationship the frst steps are Physical related. The eyes ,the gestures, the mannerisms, the smile..... Only from this comfort level we are able to take this relationship higher and forward though the physical attraction is still the underlying factor. Sex has a role to play, a major role. But that does not necessarily take the two to the sexual relationship.A guy and a girl can , certainly, be good friends without committing to the sexual relationship. it is not a sign of weakness but most certainly a sign of strength.

My personal opinion .... sorry for the following statement...... is that any sexual relationship is an invasion in one`s personal domain. Sexual relationship transgresses physical and emotional areas. Thus , both sides should see this invasion as an acceptable one, both claiming surrender ,in the defeat and in the win.
I should have gone overboard!!!!!!!

yes it is possible for a guy and girl to be friends without a sexual relation ship. take me for example i have a girlfriend that I'm in love with but yet i also have a bunch of other friends that are girls but just because we're friends means we're having a "sexual relationship" and the main reason is because i only want that with my true love but I'm not sure bout you but you need to make the dission bout your relationship with your friends is sexual or not because its your life and all we can really even do is give you advice and hope it helps you out in some way or another. So dont worry much. But out of true opinion i say if your just friends then there shouldnt be ne thing sexual about it. :-)

Yes it is possible for a girl and a guy to be friends without having a sexual relationship. But that's only possible if there is no physical attraction between them. Otherwise, no.

Yes, it is possible. I have a friend who has remained as such throughout the past 20 years. We went to High school together. We live in different states, see each other often and talk daily via the net and the phone. My kids love him and we all consider him part of the family. It takes trust, loyalty, admiration and personal will to decide that you want that person in your life, at a friendship level, no matter what time and circumstances may throw your way. Its a commitment.
