It seems that most women have become money hungry, self centered, spoiled little brats. Is this just the area I am in? I do live in a uperscale resort area in florida. I just want to find a down to earth normal everyday fun girl to be with. are there any left?

The problem I'm having is that when people look at us, I"m sure they must think " how in the world did that HOT guy father such a homely little girl ", how can I make people realize that I'm in NO WAY the father of this little troll. I'm thinking of making her wear a bracelet or wear a sign on her neck saying " THIS MAN IS NOT MY DAD, MY DAD IS IN PRISON, THIS MAN IS ON HERE CAUSE MY MOM HAS BIG BREASTS ", but that might be a little harsh...I"m just not sure what to do ...any ideas ?

Some friends of mine had their daughter and son-in-law move in with them temporarily, along with the two grandkids, because they moved here from out-of-state and have to find jobs, housing, etc. The woman of the house has been doing almost all the cooking for everyone to give her daughter a break until they got settled. It's been a month now, and the daughter hasn't made any move to take over some of the meal planning and cooking. Her husband is very picky and expects alot, and the only food he will eat is expensive, and the parents have been buying all the groceries. What should the mom do? How should she approach her daughter about this? She feels bad because her daughter does have a baby and a little kid to deal with, but... what do you think? What kind of arrangement / trade-off would be practical? As is, their mealtimes are chaotic and stressful. I was over there last night. It was crazy.

Now, she's staying up to 1:00AM saying that she is "dating" another guy. My dad sats that we are going to move out in about 1 week. What should I do?

Does a divorce require both partners to agree to it?
Or can a woman divorce her husband even if her husband does not want to get divorced?
If so, how does she divorce him? My friend wants to divorce her husband, but her husband refuses to send her his marriage papers, and he says that if she divorces him he is going to hunt her down and spend the rest of his life torturing her.
She is really scared. I want to help her but I don't know what to do. Her husband sounds like a madman. (They dont live together right now.)

I think usually when two people divorce they are both at fault.

Why do some people divorce and blame their ex for all the problems and the divorce?

For example, my husband's parents divorced after they were together for 10 years. His mother blames his father for EVERYTHING and accepts no responsiblity for their years of fighting and unhappiness that led to their divorce. I do not believe it was all his fault (btw: he didn't abuse her or cheat), I have witnessed her being heartless often to her own son! They are both responsible for letting their relationship turn to crap after only 2 years of marriage!

Don't you think accepting your own responsiblity would help you move on and be a better spouse when or if you ever marry again?

P.S. My mother-in-law hasn't had any good or lasting relationships since her divorce, but my father-in-law has!
