Depends on what you mean by dress nice... I personally like a girl who cares about her appearencce but if you mean like wearing dresses all the time then I think thats a bit overkill.

I think they like a girl who dresses up but also knows how to kick back and not care what she looks like... If you are always dressy they might think that you are trying to hide something and if you are to plane Jane they will wish you dressed up more so I say a little of both and you'll be all good....

Its not necessarly girls who don't care, but i've met a few guys in the past and some of them don't like the mask in us female faces... the ones that pack on the make up... and most of them like the exotic seductive look. Not to revealing in the upper or @$$ part... that is only to show you are easy. I have had many experiences, and male friends that are very honest with me... and 98.99% of the time like that in a female. Don't take it as they can care less about how we look... I think that's one main thing they care about... how we represent ourselves.
A bit of advice... if you wear a lot of make up and think your cleveage is going to get you something, try doing the opposite, but continue to care for yourself.

Personally I like it when a girl is conscious of how she looks. However too much time spent on it can be a bad thing, so being able to just throw your hair up and go out the door is cool too...So to answer your question: It really depends on the person your with and his preferences.

High maintenance. You carry that around a guy know they have to pay a lot for ya. I mean a lot of time, and money.
I wife when I first dated her never worn make up and dress simple. I love that, It show confidence and security that other woman lack.

I think it really depends on the guy. Most guys today are looking for weave headed hoochie mamas. I'm looking for a real man, not a thug. there is a difference between a hoochie and a ladie. I say that ladies always win, because hoochies get old and look old.

I like the ones that don;t wear makeup and dress as casual and comfortable as they wish. Dressing up can be a pain in the butt all the time, so I don't expect that. JMHO GaryT

Depends on the chick some I always see made up and dressed if I saw them early in the morning they may scare me! LOL Others are always in jeans and don't care if one of them got all made up I'd also be scared! LOL
