dating should be fine, I don't see a problem. as a responcible man, postpone sex till she's 18. other than that - i wish you happiness, go for it.

Is the guy 21, or the girl? personally being a girl, I would never date a guy that's 17 if i were 21, but if i were dating a 21 year old, id have no problem with it.
It's completely legal until you have sex, and since one of you is under 18, if parent's find out they could press charges. learned this all last month in business law class

Most states it is not illegal....most of the time age of consent is 16 yo.
I do not think it is wrong for a 21 year old guy to date a 17 year old girl.
That is not that big of an age difference at all.

Absolutely not. I am dating a 21 year old and I'm 16. As long as it's love and nothing else yall are looking for I say have at it. It's not the age that counts in the long run.

By law yes, but if the parents of the 17 year old consent to the dating you're safe. Otherwise hold off until the 18th birthday, don't want to go to jail if you don't have to.

i think four years is a good age difference.especially if the girl is 17 and the guy is 21 girls mature faster then guys so a girl of 17
is perfect for a guy 21

well when i was 17 i was dating a 24 year old, so of course i dont think so, but other people might have a problem with it, dont worry she turns 18 soon

Technically its illegal. But I think if her parents know and approve then it's ok. I was 17 and dated a 25 y/o and my parents knew and he was good and respectful, but I had already lost my virginity and my parents knew that too. I think it's up to you to talk to the parents for their blessing. If not, move onto someone more legally appropriate.

It's not immoral but I'd wonder what a 21 yr old would see in a teen... that's a big gap in maturity.
