This is HORRIBLY emotional for me. I am considering separation frommy husband of 8 years. we have 2 children and he has a 9 year old. I've been in my step-daughers life her ENTIRE life as my husband was my best friend before we were married. I love her as if she were my own flesh and blood.

However, if we separated I would have no legal right to request visitation. He has joint custody with her mother.

Neither party would keep me from seeing her, I know, but I feel as though I'm staying in this relationship soley for her sake. How unfair it is for her to already to have a split home, and I am making it even more difficult.

Me and my boyfriend are friends with another couple that we went to high school with, they're a year older than we are . Anyway the guy of the other couple is a BIG cheater. They've been together for around two years and in those to years he has gained at least ten sexual partners and counting. Now they're married and he's still cheating. The thing is she suspects it and people have told her numerous times that they have seen him with multiple girls in her car... he's had sex with other girls in her car, she ask him about it but he throws her an attitude and she leaves it were it's at. I've told her that he lies to her about where he's going,he never wants her to go anywhere with us. I didn't say anything about the amount of females there has been. I know all this stuff because i'm usually around and me and my boyfriend are always talking to him about it. He doesn't care though, i think he is wasting her time and in the end she is going to be hurt.What should i do?

My bf always tells me he's busy, he calls and texts rarely, sometimes no calls or text for a whole day, and his excuse is always that he's overwhelmed with work. I don't believe being busy stops you from sending a text message( it takes only 2mn ) .

On Tuesday his son (Billy the 18 year old) had an attitude for what reason I don’t know. Anyhow, I was concerned because I though it stemmed from having to watch the children and stuff so I asked him what was wrong and he ignored me. So, I told William it was disrespectful for him to just ignore me as if he didn’t need to justify me with a response even if it were, “Debbie I don’t want to talk about it”. So yesterday I came home and cooked diner and made everyone a plate but him because he was upstairs in “Nia & Sierrah” room. I'm very much in love with my boyfriend and he says that he loves me "when I ask him".He didnt work for a whole year and I took care of him.Now the table has turned and I am not working but he is.Ever since he got his job he has been talking to me like I'm a dog and not showing me respect.By respect I mean I will be talking to him and he will get up and walk out of the room as though I have not said a word.It makes me want to cry,and I tell him that it hurts me.It goes allot deeper.When I tell him to leave me he says he is in love with me and that he needs me in his life.He will be good for one day and then it's right back to being treated like a dog.If he loves me I'm not seeing it.If he dont love me I dont understand why he dont go when I tell him to.He usually kisses me when he goes to work,but today he didnt kiss me and I didnt even do anything.I just want some outside opinions on the situation please?

I am planning on moving out of my mom's house in 3 months with my boyfriend. Lately when I think about it- I get this really sad feeling. My parents have put up with so much crap from me & helped me with raising my oldest son. I just think that their going to be disapointed in me again. I am 30 years old now but they've been dealing with this addiction problem of mine since I was 13 & the heroin problem specifically for over 8 years now. All though I finally feel as though I'm getting my life in order I'm afraid that they just won't understand & they'll look @ it as if I'm still using. What do you think is the best way to tell them any ideas? My husband & I are moving in with my Grandmother to help her & she lives very close to my parents so I'm afraid that their going to find out, cause I go to the clinic every morning so I thought that it would be better that they hear it from me then someone else.
