It is better to love and lost then not to love at all.
If you want to be more than just friends you need to voice that to him. This could lead to a wonderful relationship with a bright future ahead for the both of you. Just keep in mid that if the 2 of you were to break up that could possibly end the friendship also but the rewards far exceed the risks.

Dude just go for it!- You can't have both. Either you suspect he likes you just the same way you like him or not. Here's what you do. one night go for a walk in the park tell him you've got something big to tell him. Then when no one is around have him sit on a bench , swing or whatever , and kiss kiss kiss him open mouth.
He'll be shocked and surprised and turned on
trust me he won't say no.
Then just take it from there, see where it goes.
But I can tell you one thing, Its not going anywhere if you don't move your azz .
Take a risk, I hope he's worth it.
Good luck Girl!!

I hate to be the one to tell you but if you want to fallow your heart then you have to take a chance that the friendship will end.
As you get older you will realize that its practicly impossible to maintain friendships with the opposite sex while dating other guys. Its better that you learn now.. that guys (18 - 28) will only keep girls as "friends" because they haven't gotten around to see if they can sleep with them yet. I know this sounds heartless, cruel, and untrue now.. but in a few years you will realize what I'm saying is true.
So... you need to decide what is more important NOW to you.. the friendship or the "relaionship"? once you answer that question then you will know what to do.

The best relationships have occurred when two friends get together. He may actually be feeling the same way you are. The only way to find out is to talk about it. It's a 50/50 situation. You just gotta try.

You need to tell that person that you have stronger feelings for him and see what he feels about you. Alot of relationships started off at friends first! Just tell him your feelings never hurts to find out and know the truth so you can make your decisions on what you want to do and how far you wanna go. Good Luck sweetie!

Don't mess up a perfectly good friendship or at least bring up the topic without being to obvious and see what he thinks about dating a friend. Asks him as a hypothetical questions and go from there.

I have friends like that, but made the decision that I would rather stay friends than go out and potentially break up and fall out and never see each other again. If it goes wrong you wont have a friend any longer. just a word of warning.

I'm telling ya right now, trying to make the jump from friend to gf almost never works. He has grown accustomed to you being just a freind, anything else will seem awkward and unnatural.

It's best to stay friends. Once you cross that line of friendship things can never go back to the way they were.
