Than being caught sitting at your desk practicing your princess wave? See, I am going to be competing for the crown in the Miss Brooklyn Park Pageant, and I just thought that if I want to win, I should get that wave down just perfcet. You know, like for when they put me up on the floats and everyone sees how stunning and radiant I am. So, I was just sitting here practicing my acceptance speach and my elbow-elbow-wrist-wrist wave, and my boss walked in!! He told me to fiind some papers to shred or something...Buzzkill!!! I thought I was alone!!

i completely understand that when you first meet someone there will be that infatuation period where they are all you think about, but it has been a little over two months, and she is still spending every waking moment with him. not to mention that when we do hear from her all she talks about is him. me and her other friends all feel like we are waaaayyyyy on the back burner, and wondering when/how we should start demanding face time with her.

Well, my heart's broken. I am in love with this guy, we have been together a while and, believe me, love like this is hard to find. It was love at first sight from the beginning, and is till this day. The problem is my parents dont approve of our relationship. It's a cultural thing. I tried so hard, and I'm hurting everyone. The guy I entend to marry, he just doesnt understand why, and I've tried explaining it to him, but I understand why he's so sad. My parents think I've "betrayed" them. I just hate myself. They don't want me seeing him, and I haven't told him that yet. I can't get the courage to do so, I love him with all my heart. I have been crying for days now, I've actually lost 3 lbs in the last week - I'm seriously dying inside. I can't sleep at night, I can't focus. I actually wished I never was born or just died so I didnt have to go through this. No one understands me. Cultural differences and conservative values have broken me.....

I notice alot of Americans especially white guys like to brag about inches they don't have. please shut the hell up because you only make yourselves look stupid. 8 years ago, my then best friend told me that she could not only not be in my wedding, but wouldn't even attend because I was planning on inviting her ex-boyfriend (whom I had known since grade school) to my wedding. Both she and the ex-boyfriend were married to other people and it wasn't an issue to him. She told me that he had caused her "undue emotional harm". Long story-short - I told her that she couldn't tell me who to be friends with and that if that was her decision, then so be it. I mourned the loss of our friendship like a death and cried for weeks. Last week, out of no where she sent me a birthday card. It was a "Hey what's up, hope you are well. Know it's been a long time and I'm sorry." I closed the door to this issue a long time ago, and like the loss of any person, focused on her positives and forgave. My question is, should I reply to her card (she put her return address) or let it stay buried?

whenever she is asked to do something -put shoes away, brush teeth etc - if she is not in the mood she starts shouting and swearing. i give her 5 minutes where upon she throws things and swears at me. another 5 min. this goes on for ages. don't want to let her off with things as that is not teaching her anything, definately will not ease up on the 5 minutes when she starts hitting and swearing. we don't believe in hitting, we don't swear, we have tried early to bed, no sweets, ignoring it completely ( just makes her worse) a pebble for every good thing she does and when she gets 40 she gerts half an hour of my time to do whatever she chooses - if not doing as asked she loses a pebble. this resulted in the pebbles being thrown at me. HELP.

and then i found out that he was telling other girls on myspace while we were together how pretty they were and everything. it hurt me so much...i accused him of cheating on me and he told me hates me and wishes he never went out with me just cause i accused him.
