well what you need to think is would you invite her to your party? and how much of a friend to you? and then think am i bothered! if you are then why don't you ask her about it but dont seem like your bothered! just ask calmly and not as soon as you start talking to her! because that will sound like you are bothered

personally only a little bit but i would quickly get over it. this is for only a few reasons: 1 you don't see each other that much this would mean that you would not be their top priority. i don't really think that you would make them your top priority either. 2. there might be some reasonable explanation. i know this whole thing sucks but don't make anything out of it unless you know without a doubt it is the case. 3. you know your friend i would guess a lot so just because they don't invite you to a birthday party doesn't mean you mean less to them.

If I don't see her that much, but we talk alot...or are still friends from a long time ago, then yes, I would wonder what was up...but if its just a casual acquaintance then no I wouldn't be that bothered.

yeh - especially if they invited everyone else in our usual crowd. sometimes as we get older and have kids etc it is harder to see people as often as we used to, it is sometimes hard to remember to phone them - i usually remember about these things while taking the kids somewhere and by the time we get home i've forgotten again. just because we/they are out of sight shouldn't mean we/they are out of mind.

No, not really - it'd mean you didn't have to buy her a gift!
