Parents do fight. They are human. They probably shouldn't fight in front of their children, but it happens anyway (when tempers flare, judgement goes out the window!). I suggest you discuss your fears with them - later when they have calmed down. Talk to them from an 'I' standpoint and not from a 'you' standpoint. I mean don't say 'You shouldn't...' but 'When that happens, I feel...'. It is much less threatening to them (yes, parents have their insecurities too), and they will be much more inclined to be concerned about your feelings and how they are affecting you. Also, if they are on a 'slippery slope' (although that is not necessarily probable) without being really aware of it, it might be a gentle wake-up call.

One of the toughest things for kids is not to have security at home. Another thing is a kid's feeling that he/she is responsible for keeping parents together, or if they divorce that he/she was the reason.

Their relationship certainly affects you,. Even if they are not going to get a divorce, their fighting in front of you is terribly troubling to you. Tell them how their fighting in front of you hurts you and makes you worry, and ask them not to fight in front of you.

Parents fight, that is inevitable. Just go and tell each one of them how much you love them and then pray for them that God will heal their relationship if anything was said to hurt either one of them.

No worries! I'm sure they'll work it out :) Parents fight, that's a fact so don't feel like it's your fault or anything.

talk to them or at least shout "shut up" to them when they're arguing.
that's what i do because i don't like when my parents fight and because my dad thinks that my mom is cheating on him, which shouldn't or isn't true.

Can you talk to them and share your fears with them? If not, is there another relative you trust who you can talk with about your worries?

Best wishes to you....
