Yes you can have the guy wear a white tux or a black tux with a white tie and vest. It is ALL up to the bride. It is your day. If you want him to wear white or a little white then go ahead and do it (but the other groomsmen should not wear any white. Put them in a black tux with a different colored tie like silver or another color). I may consider a black tux with a white tie and white vest. However i am leaning more towards a silver tie for the groom and blue ties for the other groomsmen (blue is my wedding color). There are a rainbow of tie colors nowadays at tux rental places. Pick whatever colors you want.

That totally depends now on the bride and groom. No more stiff rules..Your wedding, wear what you want. Enjoy the celebration of your future together, NOT what color is "appropriate" for the groom to wear.

There have been alot of weddings where both wear white. there is nothing wrong with it and it dont mean anything bad.. u can wear purple if u want to.. the colors of a wedding shouldnt really matter anyways because its the reason u r getting married is what does matter.. that u love each other and u want ot be with each other for the rest of your lives. color is just pigment and can fade away.. I think all white weddings are beautiful anyways. good luck and take care.

Your groom can wear white, but in the photographs, the groom in a darker suit/tux makes your dress stand out more, if your both in white you just blend....

White is supposed to signify virginity. I think guys in white looks lame, but then most brides don't really deserve to wear white technically either.

Grooms positioned on black through fact adult males have conservative style in outfits, and don't want to positioned on something too extensively diverse from what they positioned on each day. additionally, in the West besides, black is the colour of means and authority. [!] in line with probability it somewhat is to stability out the certainty that the marriage ceremony is the Bride's area. i like to work out a groom in colours different than black; it seems great. yet black is okay too.

Why not. Are you not a virgin and wearing white makes you feel guilty?
