I got married about 18 months ago...we never had good pictures taken. I love my dress and would love to see it in pictures. Would it be weird for me and my husband to get dressed up like it was our wedding day again and take pictures now?

Not at all but don't mention to anyone that you did it, this will be your (our) secret ;-) !

Nope. I am actually going to have another wedding when my husband and I get back to the states because we got married in Jordan. So just think of it as doing it all over again but with out the worry and headache of all the guests and rush of getting there on time. Give your self a day of pampering get dressed up have the photos done and then go out have a fantastic dinner out. You will be making extra memories to go along with the ones from your wedding

No, I'd do it because in twenty years or so your dress will be yellowing if you don't get it preserved and if you're like me you'll have a baby and may never fit into it again anyway! Get pictures while you can so you can have the memories of how beautiful you looked in your dress.

No, I would. You'll want pictures in your dress in 20 years!

By the way, I had a dream the other night that we forgot to get pictures taken (we just had like candid shots) and I was sooo upset! haha

Of course it's not weird. I actually think it would be a fun thing for you and your husband to do. It's like a dress-up day back in kindergarten!

Not at all! Put your dress on, get your hair done, etc...rent your hubby a tux for the day and go to a photgraphy studio for a "bridal study" where they take portraits of you and your groom in different poses......

If you feel like to do it again why not. At least you have a good pictures that you can keep for years and show to your kids and grandkids someday.

you could retake the pictures in a wedding like setting/apparel, but it wouldn't be the same as if you took pictures in an authentic wedding setting.

No, why should it? You should have a really nice picture of you two in your wedding costumes! It will be a nice memory on the wall! :)

Absolutely not! You want to share this with your children, grandchildren, etc... do it while the dress still fits! LOL

Slightly weird but nothing really wrong with the idea.
