I'm always bitter and frustrated nowadays. I work hard to help people and get nothing but abuse for my trouble. Do you think that I should stop offering people such kindness? Should I just let them suffer from the mistakes they find themselves in?

He's 2 and he just pulled two small plastic cups off the counter (nothing in them), looked at them, looked at me, I looked at him and told him, "Those are dirty, will you please put them back on the counter?" He smiled ear to ear, and threw them across the kitchen, then came up to me and held out his hand for me to smack it......I planned on smacking his hand for doing that but it's like he knew I was going to. Some kids RUN when they know they did something wrong and mom is approaching them saying, "no, you don't throw!"

Then after I smacked his hand, he ran off laughing.

What's your view on this? Or, would a normal, healthy 2 year do this? (Weird!)

I have been going out with this guy for the past four years. I love him to death, but he hasn't graduated high school yet. (He is 23). I have stressed to him how important that it is to me for him to have an education. I am in college and am planning on attending law school. How long should I wait for him to get his act together? Or am I just stupid and he will never grow up?

My friend was diagnosed as being HIV after helping a guy who had been bitten by a dog. Blood squirted into her face and she contacted HIV through the blood going into her eyes. She is devastated as she has young children and only recently divorced. It hurts me when she meets somebody, and she insists on telling them her status. She has printed pages of literature of how HIV can be contacted which she hands to her new friends when informing them of her status. Then I get the emails, "will he/she contact me again". When she told me, I grabbed her,hugged her and told her I would always be there for her. Quite a few have just left. She is such a good person, and it is killing me watching what she has to endure.

my ex and i have been friends only for about a year, he has always wanted more but i didnt, i lost my mum recently and really needed his support , then he went on holidays only supposed to be gone a week or two but he just got back after a month and he didnt come back alone. i was really looking forward to seeing him again and maybe starting a relationship, now i am overcome with grief. he says he is sorry and dosnt know what he wants and is coming to talk to me tomorrow. should i even try to get him back or just get over it.

i am 34male from mumbai & a catholic,got married last year in oct,it turned out that we are totally incompatible, i am fed with her nagging & complaints , she has already left my home, iwant to separate as this relationship is meaningless,how do i get tthe anullement from the church & a divorce from the court in mumbai,what do i do if she refuses to go aahead with the divorce,what about alimony ?how do i avoid it? please help i am totally stressed up

When I was dating my husband he was so attentive and sweet. He would do anything for me and showed me he loved me all the time.
Now he hardly ever talks to me, has no respect for me and pays no attention to me and wonders why I never want sex! DUH!!!!!
I've told him this and he still doesn't make any effort! It doesn't count when he ignores me all day until he wants it. Why don't men get a clue?!!

Ive been with my girlfriend for about 2 years and we both see ourselves together in the future but she got back from vacation about a month ago and now says she misses it was thinking of going to live there, She says she loves me, but she says she doesnt want to loose me, We both have good careers here and are well established Now shes thinking of blowing it. I'm 19 and so far I have never found a right girl, People tend to catagorize me as a nice guy and all that, cause I;m "sweet" and I'm not a "player" but respectful of women. I'm not looking for plain sex or whatnot, but I want a serious relationship, you know one that might last a year, I'm not looking at marriage right now (that;s be insane) but it seems that its impossible to find a girl who can be serious, and since I am a "nice guy" I have to wait half my life alone or in relationships doomed to failure, with odds greatly favoring me being the victim in it all. I know many parents on drugs, and telling there own children not to do drugs..I always thought,
you should be a good example for your children!!
I know many adults with children like to come home and relax, so they sneak behind there own children and do drugs themselves..I believe if you want your children not to go on drugs, the parents should not be on them either..I am from the old school, where there were no drugs like now that I am aware of anyway..So would like to
know your feedback on drugs and why drugs
seem to be part of many famlies?
