Maybe he just isn't what gets you "hot", not to sound perverted. Not all romantic relationships have to be loving. Although he doesn't turn you on, he could still grow on you later. Don't let a good thing die because you may never meet someone that cares about you that much again. Hope I helped. :)

After many years of going out with only the best looking guys (I know they were the best looking guys because they always told me so LOL) and being treated like crap by them because of their arrogance etc... I finally met this short, somewhat chubby guy who became my best friend in the whole world. I never fancied him at all. I did, however, fall in love with the way he treated me like a princess. Actually, I STILL don't fancy him, as such, but I can't imagine living without him. So I know exactly where you're coming from. And although most people say that without physical attraction there can't be a long-term relationship, I'd say the opposite is true. A guy's good looks fade but a guy with a great personality only improves with age.

Ive been there. I dated a guy for over a year and it felt like this. He was the best friend I ever had. I truly loved him, but not in a toe curling way.

All I can say it is unfair to him if you dont feel the chemistry to keep dating.

My sister and I both have talked about this. Is it better to be in a relationship
**Where you are very attracted, but the relationship isnt great.
or
**Where you arent that attracted but have the best relationship you ever had.

We both feel that attraction is too important, You need chemistry/ But a real good relationship is irreplaceable.

Also fireworks become sparklers if the relationship isn't good.

You have a tough decision. Take care and God Bless.

Boy, thats a hard question. There is a difference between real love and chemical attraction. You can grow to love someone and even be happilly married but it is nice to have the attraction too. Pretty is as pretty does, and I have found that pretty boys like themselves the more than anyone. Good luck!

You say hes not your usual pretty boy - so you didn't go with him for his looks? are you compairing him to others you have been out with who are good looking? If you don't fancy him and he doesn't turn you on now then am afraid this boat will sink, this is meant to be the honeymoon period at the beginning of a relationship - think how much you want to carry on with someone that just don't do it for you and be honest with yourself.

It's evident that your not attracted to him. You love the attention, and your a taker. you really don't have to give any back and thus it is right up your alley.

It sounds like he really deserves a lot better than you or what you have to offer.

It would be great if you would go right on down the highway, and just maybe he would find some one who would deserve him.

love is not just about looks, i think you need to look up the word platonic love hun, do feel for your prediciment.
maybe its that the honeymoon period has worn off and you are no longer shagging like bunnies. when this happened with me and my g/f (3years now!!) the fancying increased again!

give it a little time and tell him to work out lol

or is it that the grass is greener?

think long and hard

I suggest deeply evaluating your sexuality.

Also. If you're younger I would say you probably enjoy the 'chase' more than the act itself. Some women lose interest in their partner as soon as they 'have' him/her. Perhaps if you tried to concentrate on giving pleasure instead of receiving it, the situation would improve.
