its not like were friends, he knows what i feel for him and he knows we cant be friends so why give me his new number? why not just cut the ties that binded us? he could have ended this by never calling me again after he changed his number,

Cause honey sometimes exes are assholes... I know i have one too and he does the same crap to me. He wants that tie there just in case, i know why not just leave it alone and its because they can't leave it alone they need us to know that they still linger there... the only advise i have to give you is to just let it go rip that number up pretend like you never got it, your better off you dont need him. You are better then that.

He probably still has feelings for you. Get one of your gf's to sleuth around and find out from him what he really feels for you. Chances are, he gave you the new number becasue he still likes you.

maybe he wants to get back together. Just because you don't wanna be with him doesn't mean he doesn't wanna be with you. I would ignore it if I were you. If you don't wanna talk to him, you don't have to answer the phone. hope I helped. :)
