I am 25 years old. I want to move out of my parents house soon within a year or so. I live on long island so apartments here are ridiculously expensive, a basement apartment on average here ranges from $900-1200 a month. If housing was cheaper here i would have moved out earlier. Everyone my age range on the island pretty much still stay at home with their parents because they can't afford moving out. Its a pain because when u live at home with ur parents u can't do what u want. Besides the point, I feel that if i just put a down payment on a condo at least i will be investing my money into it and if i decide to move out in the future, i can get my money back. As opposed to an apartment where u just loose ur money. Any suggestings, u think this is a good idea?

Ok, here it is...

A good close male friend of mine is becoming a lot more "close" to me, its quite obvious to me that he wants more than just friendship as do i....but there's a major problem that comes in the way (something that means there is 0 chance of us ever being together) - i didnt want to mention this but im going to get an arranged marriage you see, but he wont.

We both know there is no chance, yet for some reason slowly our friendship keeps progressing...

Now i know that i can prevent anything from happening, i can even stop myself getting emotionally attached to him, but im not too sure about him

He knows the consequences but he still seems to take things further, as if he cant stop himself - like talking and texting a lot more, getting involved in my life - getting attached! He is willing to take that risk - what shall i do? I can tell that he really doesnt want to ruin my future but he cant resist.

I dont want to lose him as a friend, i really dont!

My fiancé' and I have been together for five years and we moved back to the town we grew up in. He wants to move away and is miserable here, but I want to stay. I have told him that I want for both of us to be happy and if that means him moving away to enjoy life then he should. I'm afraid that he is only staying not to hurt me. I don't know what else to do. Is he trying to tell me something more or is he just restless?

My husband and I have a group of mutual friends. He knew all of them before i came into the picture. Long storty short. 6 years of knowing one of these "friends" he comes onto me at our house party after everyone is fast asleep. He is a big guy & seasoned drinker. My husband and a pal say he was just drunk. And when my husband confronted this "friend", he claims he doesnt remember it ever happened. I think he's full of it. Your opinion please?

Is it just me, or does it seem like most guys who think they're total ladies men are actually huge tools? Nearly most guys I know who claim to be studs are the biggest dorks ever! Why is that? Are these douche bags actually getting girls? I certainly hope not. I just notice this a lot lately.

My step-daughter got into some serious trouble this summer while in our care. I was the one that caught her and busted her to her mother. She told a bunch of kids at school and somehow her mother has blamed me for telling everyone about what she did. She sent my husband, her ex, an email all about what I supposibly did. Of course it is not true. But my husband did not defend me the way he should have. I have been after him for the last 3 weeks to call them and straighten this out. His daughter is manipulating both of them and blaming me for her actions. What should I do to get him to straighten this out, I refuse to be her scapegoat anymore. He dosen't want to stir anything up because of the slight chance his ex will take him back to court. How do I get him to grow a backbone?
