Actually, I think it was an insult. The other day I was talking with a co-worker who has a lot of issues in her life. She's extremely insecure - and in her 50s. I was telling her a funny story that had happened to me and she replied, "You're always so prim and proper, that really brings you down to our level!" What the hell does that mean? This woman is all about fake smiles and pretending to have interest in everyone - but I think she is a huge gossip and she only fakes interest so she can find out everything she wants to know. I'm trying my hardest to avoid her now - but I have to be polite and say hi when I do see her. Am I right to think she was insulting me?

my ex has recently got engaged and i am still on good terms with him, but anytime our mutual mates and i ask him and her out he claims it will be too awkard for her.... and now they are engaged I'm not invited out for celebratory drinks as would be too weird for her!
i dumped him and have since moved on and had a kid with someone else, she is very welcome to him!
is it just me that finds this odd?

My fiance is in Germany with the Army at the moment and we don't know when he is going to be coming back to England permenantly. I have 5 months of my college left and I don't know whether to move to Germany and leave my family and friends to be with him after college or to stay here and wait.
