My husband and I just got back together after being separated for 6 years. I have been trying for the last 4 to reconcile with him. He has just moved back home, and everything has been great. But, he has a friend that lives about 6 hrs. away that he has been talking to for 2 years. I wasn't concerned until she started calling a lot more lately and when I tell him it bothers me that she will only talk when I'm not around he says..."well, I'm not giving up talking to her for you or anyone else." Am I just being silly, or does it sound like there is more to this than he is admitting. He swears nothing has happened between them and they are just friends, but now I'm starting to wonder.

Last year, she cheated on me. Three months later, after dating him, she came back begging. I took her back, and we're trying to rebuild. Now, six months later, I noticed that she added a friend of his to her "friends" page on myspace. I told her that I am uncomfortable if she is going to be friends with his friends. Is it reasonable to ask her to remove this person from her friends page and focus on "us"? Is that "controlling" of me?

I am getting married and looking for cute, but cheap decor to go on the tables at my reception. I am tired of the played out classic of floating candles and flowers on top of mirrors. My wedding colors are claret (a dark red) black and champange. Any ideas?

Also, our theme is "Lucky in Love" because or date is 07/07/07. (Cute huh?)

Am I the only one, or do you feel sad that a 20-year-old had to die so suddenly? It's not like I knew the son of Anna Nicole Smith, but I still wonder what his last moments would have been like.

I had a 20-year-old acquaintance die suddenly like that. I was new to college at the time, and he introduced himself to me as a former room mate of my brother's. He had finished his finals only a few days ago and was waiting for the results. I still remember his gelled-up wavy hair, his wide-open eyes and brisk tread. And when I think of all that, it's as if he's still alive 'cos I can't believe that such a lively and real person as him could be 6 feet under the ground. Somehow, his death just doesn't seem right to me!

How do people feel about cousins getting married and having children. I feel it's a but weird, and have never fancied any of my many cousins.

The situation: we have been married for two years. He cheated on me the entire time we were engaged (one + year) and cheated 3 months after we got married, same girl. Then he called her and said he wanted nothing to do with her, hated her etc. Hasn't talked/seen her since. Two years pass, he confesses to cheating on me (first time I have any inkling of it), and says he wants a divorce. At this point I tell him I want to work things out. We separate. I tell him that I want to work things out and he wants time, but wants to work things out. After two months separation we decide we want to work on things. But only after he confesses to cheating on me during the two months we were separated. He has said he's sorry, he'll change, etc. Just found out that I am pregnant, yes, with his baby, happened before the separation.

And for those of you who think that it must have been my fault b/c I'm ugly, fat, etc. I'm NOT.

I am best friends with a guy. I just want him to be treated right. He is seriously dating some girl who is a recovering drug addict and has other past issues. He says she has changed. He completely supports her she lives with him and he gives her everything she wants. I am probably more involved with their relationship then I should be. He seems to want me around a lot and when I mention to him that she does or says things that are not relationship appropriate he doesnt see my point he always defend her action.

I've always wanted to know this (even though I'm happily married)

Many men believe that if they have to try really hard to convince a woman to be with them, then that woman is worth a lot. Basically they give her value based on their own effort and not on her intrinsic attributes.

Also, these men believe that if they had to make an effort to get the woman, then she will be faithful to that man because they think they "won" her, so she is theirs only and she won't choose someone else.

On the other hand, if the woman is easily won, they believe she is worthless and not faithful. These men don't know or don't want to know that a woman pretty much knows from the beginning if she wants to be with the man or not and plays the game because she knows how mens minds work. That means the woman is skilled at fooling the man in regards to her intentions. If she cheats he would never know.

Seems like these men can't understand that a woman chooses and it isn't about men winning.

I have a husband of 11 yrs who is a virtual stranger, 2 children who are both clever but rude, lazy and cheeky. A job that I love but is draining. I only feel happy when I'm in the middle of nowhere with the dog, especially at the beach. Or am reading or alone with my thoughts. I've never been in a gang of friends and can only count people I truly like on one hand. Am I odd or a loner or what. Please send kind answers.

I saw a few questions were adoption was a given as the best answer. I have gone through 3 adoptions. I am curious how people feel about this. Because whenever I end up having to discuss this people find me selfish or to nonchalant about it or jrust dont understand and give me I am lower then them looks. I dont feel I made bad decisions at all maybe a bit lax on birth control. But I believe I gave them the best chance with what I had it happened to be adoption any thoughts. Any bashing and I will report you.
