Men because they have more pride. Women, in spite of women's liberation, are naturally more resilient and submissive. Women are more experienced with interpersonal relationships so they have developed pretty good defense mechanisms to deal with rejection whereas Men are less pliable and more focused on getting their way and the goal that they have in mind. Men probably get rejected more because women are kind of naturally picky and sensitive.

Men have a tougher time with rejection. Sorry to say this but their egos get in the way. That's why there are so many men in jail for crimes against woman. They can' handle rejection. They feel like the woman is their possesion.
Men have a big problem over this!!!

I think women do tend to take it a little more personally. Then on the other hand there are some men who are just as bad as women or even worst when it comes to rejection.
Women usually will get depressed, they'll start to lose or gain weight, or stay home a lot think why they were rejected.
Men usually get offended by it. They'll start thinking am I not good enough for you and before you know it, they'll start calling you everyday and stocking you. They just won't accept it.
I think both sexes are the same when it comes to rejection.

Hard question to answer. I think men get rejected more, and take it harder at the time, but gets over it quicker, whereas a woman lives with that in her mind for years and more relationships later.

Males are weaker to deal with all kinds of emotional pain, including, and mainly - rejection. Sexual rejection above all. That could turn a calm guy into an agressive one, for example, if he feels embarassed or humiliated.

hmmm... interesting question. i think men take the initial rejection harder, but due to their nature they shrug it off eventually and five minutes later they're on to the next challenge.
women on the other hand, we tend to take it, but it to the back of the brain and heart and then years from now we realise that it's been bothering us all along but never voiced it or showed how much it affected us.
men tend to call it "baggage"... SMILE
