I've always wanted to know this (even though I'm happily married)
Many men believe that if they have to try really hard to convince a woman to be with them, then that woman is worth a lot. Basically they give her value based on their own effort and not on her intrinsic attributes.
Also, these men believe that if they had to make an effort to get the woman, then she will be faithful to that man because they think they "won" her, so she is theirs only and she won't choose someone else.
On the other hand, if the woman is easily won, they believe she is worthless and not faithful. These men don't know or don't want to know that a woman pretty much knows from the beginning if she wants to be with the man or not and plays the game because she knows how mens minds work. That means the woman is skilled at fooling the man in regards to her intentions. If she cheats he would never know.
Seems like these men can't understand that a woman chooses and it isn't about men winning.

I don't think it is OK to play the game. I never played it and finally found a guy that valued me for me, not how long it took to get me in the sack. I don't approve of women playing that game, I think it is dishonest, but single life is harder for women who don't play the game.

Well, as a man, I think it sounds pretty stupid too. It seems to me that effort involved has no bearing on degree of love, loyalty and faithfulness. It's the degree of love and commitment that stand alone. Are people really that stupid?

I haven't personally seen this a lot with men seeing a hard catch as intrinsically more desirable.
I've seen them not want long-term relationships with women that they were able to get into bed real quickly, though.
Why do the women play games?
Also, you sound like you think it's fine for them to play games; is that right?

female tend to make judgements which would be long term. at an identical time as adult men make snap judgements. female even tend to be emotional and such. at an identical time as adult men frequently think of somewhat extra logically in line with say. in some circumstances unhappiness can kill somebody from the interior out inflicting suicide or different themes. Take female Macbeth from the play Macbeth. She could no longer take the guilt anymore lots that her thoughts drew her to suicide.

that is a very good point - bit of a double standard too since a lot of men are willing to jump into bed with any woman that says yes and they see nothing wrong with that but when a woman does it they call her a whore, etc

Your theory is completely off base and frankly a little wacky.
You might want to deal with some of those personal issues before you decide to settle on "relationship philosopher" as a career.

Man are dumb, I am surprised that you haven't figured that out yet.
You never miss the water til the well runs dry, leave a man for a week or two to fend for himself and he suddenly figures out your worth don't even take it that seriously. they just don't know any better.
