I have had a hard time recently and have split with my girlfriend.

My granny died on 23rd July 2006 and her funeral was on 1st August 2006. On the 7th August 2006 I was diagnosed with depression by my doctor.

I fealt so low and did not know what the next step was. I was given anti-depresants but chose not to take them as I don't want to take them for the rest of my life.

I have mood swings and they were always directed at Laura my girlfriend.

On 23rd August 2006, I decided to take a break from her to get my head around things. Went home to see my parents and also went up to Scotland to scatter my granny's ashes. And also to Cumbria to see my grandparents.

We split up on 7th September 2006 and a feel realy down. I have done what I should have done ages ago. Written all my problems down and tried to sort them out.

I read a text message from a few weeks ago and it was from Laura saying 'hurry up and get better as I want the Paul I fell in love with back'.

He is a complete tool and they did hook up once in high school, she is 24 now and they are best friends, I am not threatened at all by him, no reason to be. But she picked out a song for them to dance to at the wedding, a Fleetwood Mac song, SIlver Springs. It seems very inappropriate, and I am usually not the type to say anything, but I am not sure what to do...any advice would be great. Thanks.

i asked this question a while ago and got great answers..thoughts i've already taken into consideration, really. he promised he'd leave his girl; he just needs more time. they have a baby but they're not married. i know i shouldn't put up with him..but how can something so wrong feel so right? logic aside, what should one do? is it always better to listen to one's mind than one's heart? is doing the right thing better than being happy..even just for a while?

SOME BACKGROUND: let's say ur casual 28yo guy. for last 1,5 year you was in very intensive touch with married woman (virtual, never have meet at real). it was not banal affair - you both were in love and hopes. then she finished with you for reason that she not feel full trust to you and can't manage double life anymore - she returnes to her family and duties. you got it hard, but accepted. then, like a month over without any contact. Probably you still have feelings to her, but you also feel hurt. You are too proud to contact her and you afraid to make a hurt to her.

THE QUESTION: if it'd be you - what you would like happen then? would you prefer total disconnection forever OR would you like to hear from her? if you want hear from her - in which manner (friendly letter or ask to return together)? would you being busy with what she feels and what is she doing? they were extremelly connected to each other. please, i ask for as many opinions and detailed answers as you could.

I am 27, with degree and decent job. decent looking - not the hot type, average built, maybe a little plump coz not fit. Good point - Considered nice, demure, soft spoken - quite quiet (not to talk unless there are intelligent discussion), but can laugh heartily., helpful when needed, sympathetic, sensitive to people feeling and friendly. Can connect to people feeling when 1 to 1. Loyal to friends. Curious and love reading and learning new thing.

bad point - shy, naive, take thing personally, sensitive (as it also good point) to the extent of may get hurt too easily, petty when provoked, get jealous easily. Not social - get embarassed easily in social gathering. Not good at make up. Can get emotional especially during the time of the month. Moody sometimes. Not very organised person, may be a little stingy at times and too straight forward with words. Too serious sometimes.

I am typical pisces. Will guys be attracted to me? what i need to do to be attractive to guys? thanks..

i've been growing in a not-wealthy family and i always have some problem with my family. i was thinking about dying on a street last year, but because so many humans say something like "you still have chance" and trust and whatever stuff so i just thought "ok, i'm gonna try my best, like everything the humans say," so i just got back home and i kinda screwed the previous year, but i'm really not planning to screw up this year. but last thursday after school, i was just curious about the school's "monitoring" over ALL the computers in the school so i just typed something like "if you're reading what i typed" yadayada ya, and some profanity like "f" words and "mom" and that kinda stuff. and on last friday, i was in my chemistry class and went to the media center and somebody came and took me to the subschool. after all the talk about whatever i wrote, they wanna have parent conference. but i don't want my parents to find out what i did.
