While I don't actually think internet relationships are either good or safe, my sister has been married to a man she met online several years ago. It seems to be working well for them.
Apparently it's a big thing because they actually make adult toys that can be used over the computer. I think that safety in these types of relationships is the biggest factor. How well do you actually know someone that you've only chatted with over the computer?
As for the toys, if you're interesed, click on the link below.

I do believe in internet relationships. My last boyfriend was from the internet and I think its all on how you deal with your relationship. The only thing I say is to be honest with one another, it would suck if you didnt and then things got serious and you found out the other was lying.

Friends, absolutely! Some of the best people are on the internet. Theyre just one click away and if you get bored, you dont need to drop subtle hints for them to leave, you can just 'sign out' Partners on the other hand, i dont beleive works, because your not around each other, and the other person could quiet easily live a double life. Plus, you want to know all your partners good and bad points and theyre easily hidden infront of a computer.

I didn't like the idea before my 32 yr. old son met someone on line , talked back and forth for a long time then met in person . They are now living together , and he is going to ask her to get married ! I've met her and I approve . They get along great and treat each other with respect . What more could you ask for ?

If i do no longer then in line with danger I shouldn't answer the question. If I do then the respond is confident. it rather is between the few varieties of relationship the place you could come across your inner maximum fantasies with yet somebody else without being accountable of adultery or fornication..or maybe emotions of guilt. this is the reason i like speaking to you.

Yes of course... i work and communicate with my boss thru internet..my sisters and brothers communicated with me thru internet..and we have a good relationship.. But if you mean man-woman love relationship..why not giving it a chance.. internet is cheaper and faster means of communication.
