people find out i have a girlfriend and immediatley say things like "yeah you can go f*ck her every night." I've asked questions about this guy before, so bare with me please. I've seen my casual lover/bf/best friend for more 1.5yrs, about every wk/wknd. Went through alot 2gether, but never really became 2 serious. We both weren't really ready for a serious relationship but always gave each other mixed signals of something that could be more. He asked twice where I bought my jewelry from, & said awhile back that it'd be fun 2 get a log cabin 2gether, where he is from. He understood the fact that my parents were a lil better off than his, like he'd always compare them, maybe to see if I'd look down upon them, which I would NEVER do, if I liked him, I'd like his parents. I'm a city girl, he's from a small town, so I guess I seemed more uppity to him, but tried 2 show him that I liked him 4 who he was, not money. I always dressed nice cuz I like fashion(used 2 model) But I used 2 like the simple life, outdoor life like he does now. And now I regret that I didn't show him I can be like that.

How do i start...Ok, So first of all, My worst enemy likes my girlfriend. He has asked her out many times, she always told him no. I have a looooong history with this guy, and i really hate him. He has disrespected me and my girlfriend many times. But this year, hes been following us around, and acting friendly. we have been dating for about 4 years, took a break and then got back together. during this break he signed up for the army/military to better himself and to get setup for the future. i understand every reason that he has for going, but im still so lost on how to cope with this all.
we are very serious about starting a family and getting married, and we have been for some time now. i personally have never had to deal with someone i knew or loved leaving to go over seas for 2 years, basically i need some advice to help me not be soo sad and to not feel depressed about this. is there anything that can help with my anxiety abou thim leaving for soo long? what helped you remain sain and functional? should i be as worried as i am?

I just finished watching the film "United 93". Was anyone else strongly affected by this movie?
I believe the bravery of the men and women on that doomed flight should inspire us all to be better, stronger human beings.

I have been married most of my adult life,so being single is hard enough for me.I found out in march of this year that I have a brain disease.The jerk I was married to for the last 5 yrs...that made me believe he loved me sooo much,turned out to be an abusive(verbally)drunk.It broke my heart,but when we found out I was sick..he threw me out.He told me to"take my broke down dying a** on down the road".I'm single now..and still hurting from that.I do want to find someone special,but how fair is it really to ask or expect anyone to want to get involved with me now?I get very lonely and I do miss having someone beside me,being held by loving arms and having someone to lean on when I'm at a low point.I just don't think I could take anymore rejection at this point.And to be honest..I really never thought about dying alone.Now I'm very insecure,and don't think it would be right to start a relationship that would last only a few yrs. What would you do? I'm not into casual sex or one nighters!

i got married 2 yrs back .My husband is a nice man but i dont love him..he is very practical and words like "love" and "expression" are not in his dictionary.I am in love with a man who is married too and almost in same situation as mine.
