This morning after staying over my best gf (I'm a girl too) suddenly got in the shower with me. We have one of those really big showers so there was plenty of room and all we did was shower, but it felt kind of strange to be in there naked with her. She seemed quite happy and playful. Was this ok? Should I just let it happen?

Depends on whether or not you're interested in being more than friends. And whether or not you think she was flirting. If you think she was flirting and you'd like to be more than friends then you should definitely let it happen...at your own pace, though. Never move faster than what you are comfortable with. If you think she was flirting and you aren't interested, you should probably not be naked around her, as this might give her ideas. If you want to be more than friends, but don't think she was flirting, you should probably also avoid showers together, as that might be awkward for you. But, if you aren't interested and don't think she is either, I don't see any reason why you guys can't share a shower. I hope all works out for the best. From what you described, it at least sounds like your friend was comfortable with the situation.

Should you just let WHAT happen? You mean you want to do something with her? Why is it today everyone thinks being gay or lesbian is the hip thing to do. No one wants to hear it, but it is a sin against nature and God. It started with Adam and Eve, not Adam and Andy or Eve and Ellen. Get a grip, next time shower alone.

I would not be comfortable with that at all. I would have said, "Whoa! I'm too modest for this! Either you shower or I do but, not together." I think most girls would probably feel that way. If you spend the night again, make this clear to her first.
