I really think it depends on where you are going on your date. If you were just going to the movies and meeting there and you brought flowers, what would she do with them until the movie was over? I think you have to be practical. And most of all not make her feel uncomfortable. You need to arrange the date and take her out to eat at a really nice resturant. You pick her up so that when you go to the door to get her, you have a single rose in your hand to giver her. She can then decide to keep it at her house or take it with her... this will let her find her own comfort zone. Just use good manners and get the car door for her, the door to the resturant and her chair. When she stands, you stand. Make sure you leave a great tip to the waiter and that you are kind to them. No girl wants to date someone who is rude. When you take her home, get her car door and walk her to her door. Ask her if you can kiss her goodnight... after the kiss, tell her what a nice time you had and tell her you want to do it again if that is alright. Then after she closes the door, stand there for a few seconds and take it all in... walk slowly to your car and stare at the house before you get back in your car (just in case she is looking out the window) If you see her just give her a little wave and drive off. Don't ever let a girl know that you are head over hills in love with her on the first, second, or third date. Keep her wondering a little while if you are that interested. Well, guess I went a little overboard.... all you asked was what to buy her... sorry!
