WE HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR 4 YEARS NOW AND HAVE A CHILD TOGETHER. BUT HE WILL NOT MARRY ME, WE HAVE HAD DATES LIKE 5 OR 6 BUT THE DATES COME AND GO. WE REALLY DON'T SEE EYE TO EYE ANYMORE ANY WAY. DO YOU THINK I SHOULD SEE IF WE CAN WORK THINGS OUT OR LET GO AND LET GOD. I THINK GOD IS NOT IN THIS BECAUSE IF HE WAS WE WOULD HAVE BEEN MARRIED WITH NO IF'S AND'S OR BUT'S. HELP ME OUT PLEASE.

I mean, should I give her all my love, buy her presents, take a mariachi group and serenade her, give her flowers, be there for her, confor her, be her friend , lover and confident, write her letters, take her on vacation, go out with her to the places she likes, visit her at her place 4 times a week, cook her dinner and try to please her and make her happy in every way every single day??

I mean, I met this wonderful girl and thats what Im planning to do if she becomes my girlfriend someday...

anyway, I've heard that when you treat girls that well they kind of feel like floating and they might dump you, that they can take you for granted...

But I can not imagine myself treating her in a different way...what should I do??

Sounds like a wierd question but, if its been used and left out for about a month would it rot in that time or go a funny colour?

More detail... have found used condom in husbands drawer, he said he used it whilst masturbating.....there is red stuff on the outside of it.. could it be the lubricant or something else much worse? Is it possible it would change colour?

I know the relationship won't work but I can't stop thinking about when we have slept together and how hot he makes me!! Any suggestions on how to get past this? I was married for 21 years. Married when I was pregnant and very young. We had 3 children together. He was abusive to me and our children. I was able to get away with my kids and we are now safe. He's out of our lives because he is in jail. He's due to get released in the next 2 years. I still live in fear of him emotionally and when he's released it will be physically. I have had a couple other relationships since my divorce (good guys) but, I always have a problem with trusting and letting down my guard to my heart. My children are now grown and are doing good but, I can't seem to get over the abuse. I've been in therapy for a long time and nothing seems to work. I've come a long way but, I'm still afraid of getting hurt again. What can I do to eventually get over my past. I want a happy relationship too like so many married couples that I see. I'm a good person and I think I have so much to offer. Help! Thanks!

Ok my b/f and I both went to college, but we went to different colleges 3 hours away. Things are actually really good except one thing. My b/f is going to school with a friend of his, who is a girl. ok now, i like this guy named brett. he's in my art class and we have a lot of things in common. we like the same bands (never talked about it, can tell from the band tees) have the same shoes (converse chuck taylors) and we are both in art. there are some other things but they are trivial and dont matter as much. we are both really timid, so its hard for us to talk to each other. we have had a few conversations, but he kept saying really stupid things in a really serious tone, like he was nervous. today we kept looking at each other, and when we saw the other looking, we looked down. do you think he likes me and if he does then how do i get him to approach me? i really like him a lot so its really important. no sarcastic answers please.

We live in a shallow world, there's no question about it. A world that seems to be obsessed with some superficial idea of love. Every time i turn on the radio i hear it, every time i turn on the TV, i see it. Should we be rushing into plenty of relationships or just spend time getting to know ourselves? I personally have never been in a serious relationship and i've never felt the need too be. As people, do we need to signify our existance through the existance of another person?
