I know the relationship won't work but I can't stop thinking about when we have slept together and how hot he makes me!! Any suggestions on how to get past this? Unfortunately, I am with someone else who doesn't do it for me but I don't plan to leave him or cheat, I just want the stop thinking about this other guy who I clicked so well with sexually, I have never had anyone better!

I understand the way you feel. And it is difficult! Maybe just try and concentrate on the reasons why the lustful relationship won't work, and the reasons why the person your with does. If you love the person you are currently with, maybe try to teach them what turns you on sexually, - experiment and muck around - it can be a lot of fun!

You could be at risk of getting obsessed about it. There's some good advice on the internet about recovering from obsessive compulsive behaviour. Great sex over a long period can be incredibly addictive, even after the relationship is broken off for other reasons. You have my sympathy - I'm there too, and it still drives me crazy after more than two years.

.You just have to allow time to it's magic. But, in the meantime, why don't you concentrate on the relationship you are in.

Something had to have attracted you to him in the beginning.

Rediscover it.

Tell yourself that he is your man, he is the one who lights your flame. If you direct your thoughts in that direction you will start to believe it. Much like smiling when you feel miserable and start to feel better.

I have said this many times before...the brain is the biggest and the best sex organ. People can talk themselves into anything, why not harness its power, and talk yourself into something for your benefit :)

You go girl :)

only time will allow you to get over it. Hopefully since thats what you really want time will do it. Otherwise the thought may never leave.
