If you could stay home or go work for extra money what would you choose and why?

i would keep working
i dont like the thought of being able to live and survive while someone else is paying the bills or even because i had so much money i dont have to work if that was the case i believe i would use my extra riches and help out family memebers who need things done my brother needs to redo his bathroom and my sister needs a new car etc

I would stay at home. I have three kids, and I think it is so important to be able to be apart of as much of their lives as I can. My oldest is 10, and I think of how fast 10 years has gone by. Most people think they "have" their children until they are 18.But by the time they are 14, they are busy with school, church, and work activities. They have started the process of becoming independent . While they are young these precious years I will never get back. So Yes, I would stay at home if I had the choice.

I have a 1 and 2 yearold and I don't work my husband works alot if I could work I would cause I like working I like keeping occupied but my kids mean much more to me then a career so I am a stay home mom and wife I cook,clean,the laundry and dishes I do typical things a mom and wife does but when the kids get older and can help their selves I will consider a job just right now they need me the most

Staying at home is always a sacrifice no matter what ur reasons. What u need to determine is if the rewards of being at home will out weigh the cost. I stayed at home because I wanted to be home for my children everyday. While I have never regretted it ; it is sometimes sooooo boring. If I had to choose all over again ; I would make the same decision. You have to do what's best for you and yours. You never have to justify trying to benefit urself and ur family. It's noone else's business unless they plan to pay ur bills.

I do stay at home with the kids, but I have a husband who enjoys working all the time. Right now though, I don't feel like I have a good balance in my life. So I am going to be looking for a part time job. I think a good balance of both is important, but of course you have to be able to support yourself & your family.

I am not working right now. I am looking and really am bored staying home. It also boots my self esteem, by me knowing I am doing something constructive with my life (working), making my own money, and being out in the working world.

I might choose to do some volunteer work rather than have a regular job, but I would work. Keeps my brain and body in shape, for one. Plus, I would be bored just sitting around the house.

The work environment is more stimulating than watching tv all day and I love the chance to meet new poeple...I would go to work and use the money to fix up my home...e.g. I would like to put in an inground pool and a new driveway and get a new kitchen...and mattress

I personally wouldn't work. I am really family-oriented, so if I had to choice, I would definitely just stay home and take care of the kids and manage the household.
