I met a woman online, we like each other and get along well enough. but now she has postponed the time to meet several times, this last time indefinitely. I have been living with my older brother for over five years now. We are in our mid 30's. The reason I ask this question is that six years ago he had impregnated a woman he worked with. They are both doctors but she didn't want to be bound by motherhood and career just yet. She and my brother agreed to have the baby and my brother would raise their child. My brother asked her why she didn't want to be a mother and she said she had intentions of moving to another state to make better money. At the time I was unemployed and didn't have any prospects in sight so he asked me to help him raise the baby and he would help me financially.
My brother has added us to his health and life insurance policies and has requested to change the name on the birth certificate to mine as the mother. We do not have the same last name due to the fact our mother married our father after my brother was born and my mother gave him her maiden last name. Are we considered as common law man and wife?

I'm 27 going on 28 and have had trouble meeting men who meet my level of standards, I'm college educated with a masters degree, I have a very good income level and for a long time I wondered why I couldn't meet the right kinds of guys.

For a while I felt like perhaps my appearence was part of the problem though my friends and family told me it wasn't. Well, I've had a few cosmetic procedures done and it's been almost a year since I've had work done and I'm not really having any better luck.

I've tried dating sites, personals, being set up by friends and nothing really works, I haven't had a "serious" relationship since I was 19 and have had numerous bad experiences meeting people. Some have said that perhaps my standards are set too high on the kinds of men I'm willing to meet (this is in part due to some bad past experiences).

Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I should do to change my approach?

The game is over. she proved me she can't be the one i desire in life to have. she never been what i wanted and she ended up being unfaithful to me........ why and why I Still can't hate her, after what she has done to me??? Why I still care and worried about her... but last thing i want is, us to get back together. i can't stop worrying about her and care what she is doing with her life.
How can i really free myself from those stupid thoughts, which i know it's not my business at all to care about someone who ruind mylife. I know even talking to her causing pain in my chest but yet i can't stop myself of not wanting to help her i can and talk to her.
p.s: she is in trouble and in deep S**t ,that she even doesn't know and doesn't want to accept it, what she put herself in by choosing a wrong path in life.

ok so i think i like this guy... i have dreems about me and him.. him kissing me and putting his arm around me and us hanging out! i have a lot of these dreams! but i was just wondering if i like him and if he likes me! well details... i never really thot i liked him... but like at school we flirt a lot! he is just sooo sweet and cute! and funny!! well that was last year.. this year do u think i should ask him out? i meen.. i'm only in 7th grade! but he is just the hottest!his laugh and smile and looks and eyes... ahh! the only reason i am asking is because some other guys would like be all up in our buisnes if we did go out!
