I met a girl and asked for her number (on a sunday).Is it appropiate to call her rigth away or maybe I should wait 2 days?Also,any ideas on a date?Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my question.

If you got her number on Sunday, it is best to call the following Monday evening. This way you are not comig off as desperate and, since it is a holiday weekend, you are giving her time to get relaxed before you phone. I would recommend around 8 pm for the call, as this is generally after dinner and well before she would be falling asleep.
With regards to the date, that would depend upon your age and your financial abilities, but usually a movie and coffee after is a good first date sort of thing.

well i wouldn't wait too long wait a day. 2 days could be a long time and for a date i would say if you could afford a nice but not fancy dinner or lunch, go to the movies or u could take a walk through the park and just get to know each other better. hope it all works out for ya
