When did you know your spouse was "the one"? How could you tell?

I am 25 and newly single. I want to get married and I want to know how you know your with the person you will marry. And how much time you should give a relationship before moving on.

This question is mostly for guys but girls are also welcomed to answer it!! Here goes....My question is, is it possible for a girl to change a guy? A guy that likes to spend a lot, that likes to be all the time outside partying, I mean he works monday through friday, but he says he prefers to be outside rather than in his house.....and he doesn't really like to spend much time with his parents or family....what do you guys think about this? Is this guy worth it or not?

I know that this isn't actually part of my question but GIRLS what would you do if a guy once tells you that he left a girl pregnant and then tells you that she had an abortion....And after that when he saw that I didn't answer his calls like before, he told me it was a joke when I mentioned it....He's like you believed it? I was joking....but I mean no one jokes with those kind of things, right?? Do you think this guy is even worth it, maybe as a friend???? Please help!!!!

Ok a few years back I dated this guy, everything was going really good. We both knew that we were meant for eachother. Then his mom got sick and he had to move to iowa to take care of her. Well we ended up breaking up because of the distance. I was in school full time so I couldn't go with him. Well now he is back and we've already fooled around again but we haven't really discussed getting back together. Now I still love him with all my heart and from talking to his cousin ( who happens to be my best friend) he still loves me to. How do I approach the subject of us.

my friend can only come over my house maybe a day a week since her mom works and she has to watch her siblings but i can always go over there..... on the days her mom has off...i ask my mom if she can come over but she gets all moody and says shes not in a good mood so maybe she can come over tomorrow but she cant then i ask her if i can go over there and she gets all moody about how the house is not clean and i should be doing something else.....if this keeps up... our friendship would fall apart and i dunno what to do..please help

Aliens... I hate them - The movie "Signs" petrified me - almost broke the boyfriend's hand. If I ever met E.T. I'd beat him to a bloody pulp. The Aliens movies don't scare me that much - it's the Greys that do me in.

alright. so me and my bf went out for about 3 months. ever since the beginning of school last year, we had a thing for each other. just like the first time i saw him and he saw me, we just felt something u know. and so then finally half way through last year he asked me out. we lasted for most of the summer till august 1st. we were ok over the summer. we didnt get to see or talk to each other that much though. but we were both crazy about each other and im sure we were in love. anyone could have seen that. but he broke up with me and said that he didnt think he would have much time for me and i would get too mad when i didnt talk to him and stuff. i know its my fault and i messed up. but now a month later im still crazy about him, hes all i can think about and im so unhappy without him. he told my one friend the other day that he agreeed w/ her, that his feelings for me could never really be gone. and he said he didnt know what to do but other people tell me that he said it was over.

My gf is catholic and yesterday I posted in my blog a joke, saying that religious faith (not catholic but any) is an like an obsessive compulsive behavior. She got mad at me. She said that I offended her, but the truth is that I did that kind of jokes before i met her, so I think she should learn to accept my jokes or stop reading my blog. She says that its like if im mocking her and her family.
