my boyfriend hasnt had a job for almost a year, and as we live together i have been supporting the two of us. I love him so much and cant see us breaking up but is it time to put my foot down and stop being a pushover?

Is he getting any help? Like unemployment. Don't let him live off of you! Make him get a job or find yourself a new man. He is obviously enjoying his woman supporting him so now it's your turn to have him support you.

You mentioned that your boyfriend is currently unemployed, so is he going to school to get a degree for a better job? Or is he just sitting around the house, watching television and playing video games on the computer or other game counsel?
I say you need to put your footdown and tell him to find a job! Tell him if he hasn't found one by the end of September, you can't live with him anymore!!

you need to tell that lazy bum you're not supporting his but anymore and tell him to get a j o b cashier at walgreens, drive thru doesnt matter he's had the good life for a year you're not his damn mother-i think you are allowed to be a bit of a ***** towards him because then he'll know you're not joking because you've allowed yourself to be a pushover for this long it might hurt his pride to find him a job be easier but you dont want him to whine so just give him a nice lil shove towards the classifieds

What is going to happen is he is going to get a job and leave you. You are not doing him any favors by letting him live off of you. You are his surrogate mom.
