No. We tend to look for partners who have similar beliefs in the things that are important to us. Before I married, I only wanted to date guys who were well read and interested in sharing ideas. For her, it's important that the people she dates are interested in faith.

No, it not prejudice because it is the type of guys she wants to be with. It is nothing wrong if she wants to be with someone who believes in the same thing she does. It is difficult to talk with someone who does not have the same views on life like you do and it is difficult if they don't feel the same way about things like having sex before marriage. How can you date a guy who don't think it is wrong because they don't believe in a higher being or whatever is their reason to not care. She and the guy will both be in a struggle him convincing her it is okay and she convincing him it is a sin, very stressful especially if she is devoted to her religion. If not then it may be something that her parents put on her, she can't bring her boyfriend home unless he go to church other wise they won't like him and get on her and try to convince her to leave him.

If an 18 year old refuses to date a 60 year old, is she being prejudice against his age?

If a man refuses to date another man, is he prejudice against gays?

People decide for themselves who they want to date based on who they might want to partner up with for life. Someone serious about church wants someone who is just as serious, so both will be on the same path through life.
