By discipline I mean any sort of punishment, not just physical. Do you think there is in increase of parents who do not discipline? If so, why do you think that is? How is it affecting the children?

Hello everyone. I have a very tricky confuseing situation. I am 19 years old and I'm going out with a 17 year old. He has no clue what he wants, He smoke drinks lies, keeps things from me.. He has tried to stop... and in the past he has done alot of things that hurt me REAL badly. tho I still stayed with him... My best friend is 24 he is honest truthful and reminds me of myself.. He is real and a great man. TRUTHFUL says it all... He recently told me he loves me. And that he knows inside I am the one.. B4 he told me this.. I felt pretty weird around my Best friend... I love my boyfriend, but he doesnt show.. me that he really cares about me.. from time to time he does.. what should I do... Should I leave my BF or give him another chance? Or should I try and risk it all the way with my Best Friend.. ?

Hi, my bf is a tax attorney. We are having a LDR. I am in the west coast and he's in the east. He has been very busy lately. He works long hours. I can tell he's quite stressed out and overwhelmed by his new cases. He's so rigid and I haven't seen him smile for a while when we video chatting. Right now, he doesn't even have time for me. Is there anything I can do to help him loosen up a bit? I don't want to make him feel that I am mothering him when he's stressful. I need his attention but I understand that this moment he has to deal with his work first. I just want to show him my care, even we are apart. Can someone give me some suggestion? I want to send him some daily SMS to cheer him up. What should I write to make him laugh? I am a very serious person so I don't know how to make up funny text messages. Please help.

This boy in my class keeps harrasing me. I cant tell if he actually likes me, or is just doing it to see my reaction and make fun of me, seeing as how i am younger than he is. he whistles and makes a lot of awkward pick up lines and wont leave me alone, and it makes me uncomfortable but i dont know what to say. im kinda shy so im bad at just saying "go away leave me alone" but i want to be able to deal with it by myself. telling a teacher or a parent would just complicate things and make it a bigger deal than it actually is, so i don't want to do that. Does anybody else have this problem, or advice?

I never realized that for my whole life I was putting on an act. Sure I'm not little miss goody two shoes, I've made my mistakes (not ones that would land me in jail, nor lose my virginity). There were things that I realized about me from the two years I've only known this friend and we think of each other like brother and sister. i am 16 and i wet the bed due to stress, i have talked to a doctor and he says that i am fine, other than that i olny get about 4 hours of sleep a night, i am in high school and college (dual enrolment), i am involved with 6 diffrent clubs, and am very active in my church. i also have a job. i need to know if there are better ways to deal with this than diapers. my parents say that i can try something else, but i have to find a way frist. i will be put in a diaper soon if i dont get some good ideas.

he is definitely a great guy! he got everything women looking for. he is very popular to women. his colleagues are crazy about him. he's approached by women many times on the street and in a club.. all the phone calls and text-messaging from women,
when I’m with him, I feel so insecure but he really likes me and has been waiting for me.
I don’t care how he looks and I’m happy being with him, but the insecurity I feel inside really bothers me. I don’t wanna be with someone who’s bugged my women all the time. Even though, he never cares about them, but I really don’t wanna get pissed off all the time. I am not a generous type of girl. He loves gaming of all kinds. He values his sleep. He's pretty lazy. Does a bit of smoking...aaaand thats pretty much him in a nutshell.

So...I was thinking...

i haven't seen my dad in 19 years. the last time we spoke was 9 years ago. we were on the phone and i got mad at him because he was getting married and i guess the woman he was marrying wouldn't let him come and see us or maybe he just didn't want to. i don't know. my brother has never met him ( he was a baby when our parents devorced) i want to talk to him.
