...its been about 8 months and you finally exchange numbers (only to keep in touch via text)

you text each other all day (about rubbish) and then the girl says

"there's no point wasting my time texting you when i will see you online later"

Would you get offended and how would you reply to this?

Btw, you are not strangers, you are a friend of a friend, and you live in different cities

[ Basically, i think i may have really upset a friend of mine by saying this ]

That this is an open forum and appreciate all answers, but how is it that men can't figure out women, being so complex as they are, but women know exactly what men want?
Women, what do men really want?

OK....on the real.....I think I love my roomate.....BD, ex.... We have a business deal and I want more. I am suppose to help him financially with a current debt and he in return is to take care of me and my child.....that's all, nothing else. I constantly get mixed signals from him. Inviting me to go out with him and his friends, inviting to take me where I want to go, calling for no reason to check to see if i am ok, questions as to who i am dating, if i am coming home etc. And then, there is the look in the eyes and him turning to the romantic music stations to sing to me every chance he gets. This can be rather confusing considering he said he had no romantic feelings towards me and that this was strickly a business deal. Well, my question is, should I continue the business deal or move out? I Want More.....

my boyfriend plays cricket for a local cricket team (they are rubbish and hardly ever win) and likes to go for a drink after games at the club house.

when we are there he takes off and talks to other people he gets on with all the players and their wives but im struggling to make conversations and no1 seems bothered that im there.
i get on with the men more than the women but when they start talking about cricket and how other teams have got on i find it hard to join in.

my boyfriend really wants me to enjoy myself there but its so hard since i dont work (though im trying my best to get a job) it feels like everyone is looking down their noses at me like im stupid especally the women. i get no credit when i help out doing cricket teas or stocking the bar.

im not sure what i should do as i want to spend time with my boyfriend but the people at his club just dont seem to want me there its a big part of his life.

what should i do to get his friends to like me?

My girlfriend has a group of friends that I recently joined. Since before I joined they (all males) have a certain way of "joking", it seems like all of the jokes are about her being a hoe, a slut, or a hoochie. They'll Photoshop pictures to make it seem like she's doing sexual acts or in sluttish clothing. I'VE HADE ENOUGH but she doesn't care, I see at as disrespect towards her but she doesn’t. She says its something they've always done and she thinks its funny. She says since none of it is true (which it isn't) and their joking (which they probably are) its OK. Now she’s mad at me because I’m upset about the jokes and I feel she’s letting her self be disrespected. Am I wrong for being upset? Is it my place to say something to them when she won't?

Just trying to understand something. I have a friend who broke up with her b/f but still wants to remain friends with him. Usually no problem, but here's what this guy has done to her: cheated on her early in the relationship, made her get an abortion (he has a child by someone else), cheated on her again with someone in the past, gave her an STD, hit her, cheated on her with the child's mother (and had another child with the baby mama while with my friend and lied about it). When they broke up, he admitted that he'd never left the mother and was sleeping with her all the time. Would you want to be friends with this guy? WHy does she still want to take his calls, and be friends, hang out etc??

I'll say I can count the number of girls that I've slept with on one hand. My GF....well, I can't say the same (for boys that is...she's not gay).

It bothers me...not because I'm insecure but because it's kind of gross.

What is your personal limit before a guy is off your radar screen?

I met this girl on a church group trip. HOOOOOT! Spoke to her briefly. This was back in January.

I got her MSN contact from a friend and added her to my list and we spoke a handful of times since that day. Sometimes she's responsive and into the conversation and sometimes she completely shafts.

I've seen her extremely briefly twice since January, but I can't get her out of my mind.

SUGGESTIONS?!?

My daughter is turning 7 next month. She has no friends, since we just moved from far away, and has only adult family members and one 3 year old cousin to come to the party. What are some fun things that we can do to lighten the mood and make it a little more exciting for her?

One of my old friends, which i know is two-faced is always talking about someone that i know when she's around me or something, and acting like she doesn't notice me. But sometimes i'll catch her staring at me from across the room or when we're standing up, she'll stand kinda close to me. What is up with this? She's a very confusing person, one day she's your friend; the next day she's talking about you behind your back.

Three months ago we moved into the bottom of a rental house. We were told a mother and her two young daughters lived upstairs. Turns out she has a boyfriend and a 13 year old son also, and assorted friends and family that live with her sometimes (2 bdrm apt) and a dog. We expected the noise that would occur with having upstairs neighbors. What we didn't expect was the music blaring from midnight to 4 a.m. , the cops are always coming to thier apt. (we don't call them) the 13 year old was arrested last week. Yesterday we had a plumbing problem and called the landlord and he told us that they are complaining about us. So we told him what was going on with them. He told us to "duke" it out with them. Last night the noise was worse than ever and today we have vast amounts of cigarette smoke coming through our heating vents (we have a seperate heating system from them) I have the feeling they are trying to get us to move. Should we insist the landlord do something or just move?

i've been going out with my boyfriend (we're teenagers) for about 2 months, but earlier in the year i had some random hookups, and nothing's wrong with it, because i was single at the time. but he doesn't know, and i don't think he would approve (one was with someone a couple years older). so should i keep hiding this from him ( i don't like to) or should i just tell him and risk him getting mad?
