Just trying to understand something. I have a friend who broke up with her b/f but still wants to remain friends with him. Usually no problem, but here's what this guy has done to her: cheated on her early in the relationship, made her get an abortion (he has a child by someone else), cheated on her again with someone in the past, gave her an STD, hit her, cheated on her with the child's mother (and had another child with the baby mama while with my friend and lied about it). When they broke up, he admitted that he'd never left the mother and was sleeping with her all the time. Would you want to be friends with this guy? WHy does she still want to take his calls, and be friends, hang out etc??

She is a sick person & has some kind of hang-up or compulsion that makes her want to stay in an abusive dead-end relationship.
She needs to leave & he needs to leave her alone. He's a dog, he's scum & she is a doormat for allowing all of that to be done to her with her permission. Tell her to get help. I hope she can, she's very unhealthy.

am sorry i gat to agree with the majority,she whack!like totally out of her mind! in another world(perharps mars or pluto). But in her defence,i think the reason she still wants to be friends is because she actually genuinly liked/loved him. You know how the sayong goes,love is blind. but this ones a bitt different she ain't only lost her sight shes lost all her other senses too!

Some women just have trouble letting go of the past. She seems to have alot of horrible baggage with this man. I would have wipe my hands clean of him and moved on far away from him. There is no need for them to stay in touch anymore.....she may still have feelings for him and is not ready to let go
