Are they just trying to please their children with all kinds of sweets and fats. And they don't care about the health consequences?

Or are they simply ignorant about health and good nutrition?

Here is what one scientific article says about obesity among american children:

"Our current Western food environment has become highly 'insulinogenic,'" Lustig says, "as demonstrated by its increased energy density, high-fat content, high glycemic index, increased fructose composition, decreased fiber, and decreased dairy content."

"In particular, fructose (too much) and fiber (not enough) appear to be cornerstones of the obesity epidemic through their effects on insulin," he adds....

"The concept of personal responsibility is not tenable in children. No child chooses to be obese," he says. "Furthermore, young children are not responsible for food choices at home or at school, and it can hardly be said that preschool children, in whom obesity is rampant, are in a position to accept personal responsibility."

How to deal with married men that cheat?
I have been dating this guy for about 11 months, when we first met he told me that he was divorced with 2 childrens.He is very gentlemen and caring but he never sleep over not a single night. He said a women before married should not let his man sleepover! 10 months pass, I decided to search his status online and found out that everything was a lie, and he is still a married man living with his wife. But I already fall so deeply in love with, what should I do?
I care about him, love and hated him but is so hard to leave him,,,should I tell his wife so that no one else will get hurt like me again? what should I do?

I have this friend,I have known him for about 6 years I can't stand any of the girls he's dated.I'm not interested in him romantically.He has recentaly got married and I hate his wife,and they're about to have a baby.I also hate babies.Ever since he got married he's been treating all of his friends as if they don't exist.But when he finally does contact one of us he acts like he didn't do anything wrong!! i just feel like he is giving me the 2nd choice of what closet I have and what kind of space for my things i have. He is giving me the worse stuff. and i mean, it is his apartment so he should get what he wants, but i feel like he is just giving me whatever is left over and he doesnt care about what I want. we used to get busy every day. (for more than 6 months)
a month a go, she only call me on weekends.
according to her she is busy and tired from M-T.
but damn. what about me.
sometimes i feel guilty when i call another girl.
