i wish i could tell you why, but i can't. what i CAN do is pass on this wisdom to you, and it holds true; women go into a relationship thinking that they can change a man, but men go into relationships hoping that a woman will never change.

When you love someone you only want what is the very best for them. Maybe what they are trying to change is something bad that really needs to be changed. It is possible for a person to not see that there is a need for change. If no one ever told you then how would you know??? Like having spinach stuck in your teeth after eating a meal. If no one cared enough about you to tell you that you needed to go check your teeth and clean out that spinach then wouldnt you feel later that someone should have mention this to you???? I know I would want someone to tell me if I had something about me that really need to be worked on so that I might could become a better person. None of us are perfect but it sure helps when someone loves us enough to try to help us along by giving good solid advice. Most people however become defensive and refuse to see or hear. Change makes many uncomfortable but the truth is the only thing we can really count on in life is thing most certainly will change. That's just the way life works. So we can either change gracefully or go through life fighting it till the end.

They don't realize that a mans ways are set in stone. I am a woman, and I have seen (from observation and in my own experiences) that there is nothing you can do to CHANGE a person. He make act 1 way w/ you to make you think so, but as soon as he's away- he's back to how he really is. The best bet is to shop around and find some1 who you don't have you try to change- because you'd be wasting your time trying to make some1 into what yuo want them 2 be.

I think what men call "us trying to change them" is their own inability to grow up. Dont you think women have to change ? We have to change a lot and you dont see us complaining. If it weren't for women where would you men be ? You all want to complain about it but you have to admit that you quality of life improves when a women is in it.

Not all women are like that, but I think most think they can "make us better" somehow. Trying to find a woman who will accept you for who you are is pretty tough. Ultimately I think that if you keep attracting women like that then you see something about yourself that you want to change. Only when you are satisfied with yourself and like yourself will you find someone that will like you for who you are and not try and change you.

Because some men never seem to grow up. They don't want responsibility, or commitment. That's hard to tell when you first meet them.
