Yeah, it's perfectly normal. My wife does the same thing, but not through the whole act, mind you. I'm guilty as well...if you want to consider it guilty.

It's normal but sometimes I like to keep mine open as he does too and we look into each others eyes. It makes it really intimate then but that's just us.
