Well after 4 years, my wife decides she wants to leave me for this little runt she works with. She's giving me our son at least. My question is wether I should be the better man and walk away or if I should go rip his arms off and beat him to death with them?

Your wife is leaving you for some piece of sh*t???
The better man doesn't let public perception about being nice to disgusting people drive his decisions.
The better man takes hard action for good reason.
I guess its up to you whether you think you can escape the jail time, but personally I would go tear the little sh*t limb from limb.
I might be shrewd about it though.
I would give her a wedding present like a trip to Costa Rica or some exotic third world country where they law enforcement is not as technologically outfitted as ours, and say that it is to thank her for letting you keep your son.
Then I would go down there at the same time, and I would kill them both, when they are alone on the beach, and then I would come back home.
Make sure not to fly on an airplane under your name.
You are going to have to work out all of the particulars of that one yourself.
I am not being funny by the way.

She's not the person you thought she was is she?? It's gonna take a lot of strength not to go ballistic act aggressively but the right thing to do for yourself and your son is just let her go. Obviously, if you do cause either of them physical harm you're the one that's gonna go to jail and possibly loose custody of your son because you've displayed such violence. 4 years is a long time but it's not a lifetime you have the rest of your life ahead of you. learn from this as painful as it's gonna feel work through the pain and trust there will be someone down the road that will be worthy of a lifetime of happiness with you. the odds of the two of them lasting are very slim. What kind of a loser has an affair with a married woman any way? The best you can do is focus on being the best father you can to your son. He was conceived from your love don;t let him become a victim of her stupidity and unethical behavior. You can work through this . Really get a good support system to help you through this in an honorable way. Your son will become the man he is because of the example you set. That which doesn't kill you will make you stronger. It would feel better to rip his arms off and beat him with them!! Of course you are coming out so far ahead in this!! You get to keep your son! That is worth doing a little dance around the room!
Remember, if you rip his arms off and beat him to death you could:
1) end up in jail and no one to watch you son.
2) (even worse) your wife would no longer have him to run to so she would return to you!

I think that you should be the bigger man and just go your separate way! If she was worth having she never would have decided to leave you for this guy! Remember it was her decision to leave, He is not innocent in allowing her to cheat on you with him, but he is an innocent bystander when it comes to her making this stupid choice! If she did it to you , what makes him believe that she won't do the same thing to him!
I 'm very glad that she is letting you have custody of your child!!!!!

Sounds like your the better man already. Take your son and run from her. She doesnt deserve you or your son. Trust me better than a fight in court over him. Been there done that.

Be the best father you can possibly be to your son. I know you are hurting, but divorce is always hardest on the children, especially when the mother leaves.
