i have been in a relation ship for more then 3 years toward ther end of the relation ship my boyfriend became violent and i had to say goodby,it was about 1 week later and he snuck up on me and slaped me and stole my purse,i had him put in jail ,,,now he face very severe charges and i feel so bad for him ,,,my question is why am i feeling so bad ,,,i still love him but i know we can not b together,,,please help with your best advise

I went to a wedding reception recently and noticed the bartender. I thought he was hot, but was WAY to chicken to talk to him. So, my friend, unbeknownst me, went and told him I wanted to talk to him if he wasn't dating anyone. (I know, I'm 26 and she went to talk to him, but I didn't ask her to) Anyway, she told me that he would talk to me if I went up to the bar. So I did. We talked for a few minutes, not long because he was working. I got his phone number, but he didn't get mine. He didn't ask for it and I didn't offer it. I called him a few days later and left a message on his cell voicemail. He never called back. Now, in your opinion, did he give me his number to be nice, knowing he wouldn't call me back or do you think he wanted to call me but something happened and he didn't? (Not like a house dropped on him, but maybe erased the message before writing down the number, etc)

Here is the basic story...When I was real little and lived in NY (I was about 5-7) my mom had cheated on my dad more than once w/ more than one person (her excuse is she was depressed...lame right?) Well 2 of the people she did stuff with were 2 of my dad's so called "Best Friend's" ...I was kinbda hurt by this when i was little but didn't understand fully so never told anyone ....Then I moved to Florida when I was 8 w/ my family...Then as I got to be about 13 or 14 I confronted my mom that I knew what she did...She was shocked I knew ..Anyway, I told some people that I was close to and they think it's terrible becase she never told my dad anything about what she had done...
What makes this bad is one of his so called "best friend's" has moved in our house ..He says he's struggling and needed help and my dad let him in to stay..and he's using my car because he doesn't have his own..I feel like the guy is a**hole for even trying to stay here after betraying my dad.Should I tell my dad?

i think gay people were born gay.
the story was
i got a friend who has depression,
he used to be straight, he had sex with women, and he had a girlfrend.(i am very sure he was straight)
while he was really sick(depression), he told me he 'turned' to gay.

can a straight man turn to gay? or he was just too sick, and confused himself?

I hang with my brother a lot, he is 21 i am 24, he has a lot of energy and is the more "out there" type. but it does kind of bother me when i am compared to him, how can i counter these things said to me? I had a good friends-w/ benifits-thing going with my best guy friend and he's been gone to basic training all summer. Now I'm really missing him, and I don't know at what level either. I know I love him as a person, friend, and lover, but I'm not sure if I really am in love with him or it's just from him not being around. And the most stupid things is I haven't been able to talk to him and he's going off to college anyway, so bother to have more, wait it out or not bother at all?

I am not sure what exactly is going on. But I have been out a relationship since last september and it is about to be a year that I have not been with anyone. i think my problem is being a little to picky. I have had plently male friends but i keep getting rid of them bc they seems to be bad guys. I cant be with a bad guy whose on drugs or selling it or be clubbing all the time. I am more of the professional type. Men try to talk to me all the time and they cant figure out why I am alone. Men tell me that I am fine as hell and have a level head. I have had started talking to men in the past and they told me to not to waste my life on them because they are not any good. What would you do and what do I need to do. I have found one guy that I am actually interested in. He approached me first and we have been conversating and spending time together but I dont know what to do!

My live in boyfriend has a cew female friends that he talks to, two of them is his ex girlfriend. The one that bothers me are his exes. I found one email to his ex stating that he still missed her and that he is lonely and he mentioned me as a room mate not his girl. I confronted him and he told me he was drunk when he sent those emails, of course I'm not dumb and didn't buy that bull. Also I get bad vibes about his other ex that he talks to, he went and saw her on 2 different occasions without telling me. He says he was just helping her with a web page and on the first occassion he said he just wanted to see her. He has been unfaithful to me once that I know of and he confessed to that and I believe him when he told me that he would never do it again. But now I'm dealing with him and these female friends. I just have a gut feeling that something isn't right. I don't know how to feel abou the situation. I asked him to get rid of the exes that he's talkin to, was I right to do that?
