This was 2 years ago. i met this girl, we fell in love. She told me she wanted to marry me. Weeks after that, her dad died, just like that. I told her that I would get her get through it, and I did. I was at the funeral home everyday, spent all my time with her and her family. This was right before the holidays, and I tried to make all those "firsts" without him a little easier, like Thanksgiving and Christmas. When she graduated college, i had an artist paint a picture of her and her dad, she said that was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for her. I got her a job where I work. I was away for her graduation party, but flew back early to be there, she totally ignored me the entire time. She went from saying if it wasn't for me, she couldn't have made it through that time. But then she changed, got distant. Then eventually she told me she needs to move on with her life, and she can't do that with me in the picture. But I still love her. But seeing her hurts still. What can I do?

i like this guy
i never show any interest to him....so he never knows...... i m too shy
sometimes i think he has a little interest in me
but sometimes i think i m crazy, i think it is just my imagination..... maybe he hates me
there are times that i think he finds within the crowd
when we directly see each other, we can talk no problem..... the conversation is pretty smooth too....
but there are times that he sees me right the way and then when i prepare to say hi or smile to him, he just turns away (to a store) or pretend he did not see me at all
does he hate me? what is he thinking?

For example, I used to be really interesting, used to drink and smoke and party late, and now I don't. I'll admit that in those respects, I'm not very much fun at all.

But I am fairly smart and like to have fun once in a while, but I wouldn't cheat or lie, not because I'm so noble, but just because those things don't interest me anymore. Also, it's just wasted energy, in the long run.

At what age do you think a woman starts to look away from constant action and more towards kindness and sincerity?

I know, we all want romance and fun (and so do I), but I think you know what I'm talking about here.

sitting at home, alone, on a saturday night. It is truly a spectable to be held. I am tall with an athletic build yet here I am alone. To make things worse I have locked my keys in my car and am currently waiting for someone to come and open it for me. Who knows how much that is going to cost me. So I am going to end up spending money on a saturday night and not even getting a chance to go anywhere. Because of this idiocy on my part I am probably not going to get to go out with my friends whom I hardly ever see. My question is what is more pathetic. The fact that this has happened to me or the fact that I am telling everyone on Yahoo about it?

I am in love with this boy who I have known for a little while now. I am not the most charasmatic person, but I would like to know some tips on how to be less shy around him.

Ok, the universe is built on balance. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, as does every force, every object. Thus the force that binds two people which we call love inevitably will eventually have an equal and opposite force to destroy it. Because we are attracted to one another we will also be repelled. So if you fall in love, it is physically impossible to never fall out of love. If love had no counterbalance, then everybody would love everyone else for life, and due to this not happening it can be observed there must be an opposing force to love. Anybody care to argue?

There is a guy I have liked for 3 months now and he likes me also but we are both really shy about things. I'm going to be seeing him next Saturday because our parents know each other and I'm going over to his sister's party. After going through a divorce, I signed up for a dating website, and within about one week I started communicating with a gentleman who is about 3000 miles away.
