I am in love with this boy who I have known for a little while now. I am not the most charasmatic person, but I would like to know some tips on how to be less shy around him.
Though I am a teenager, that doesn't mean that I don't know the meaning of love. I have gone through a lot over the years, including the death of my best friend three years ago. I just want him to love me as much as I love him.

get some backbone and tell him how you feel if he has also noticed you have nothing to worry about just be bold but not to bold that you scare him away

i know what you mean because ive been there and it sucks to be soo shy around a guy that you like. what worked for me was that i made myself get the mentality that i didnt like him and that he was just a guy. Act normal and sweet around him. its better than living with a "what if" remember he is as normal as anyone else. Be nice and become his best friend.

i have had the same problem before. but you have to just get the courage and make small talk with him after you've used an icebreaker, like " i like your shoes. are they new in stores?" or something similar.
after that, try to continue to talk about something similar to the topic. things will most likely run smoothly after that.
to set up a date, ask him out for coffee after you have talked for a few.
that should work OK!

Nothing like a little crush to make you get all nervous and excited.
I would seriously talk to the guy and see what he thinks of you. You don't want to waste time and energy dreaming all the what-ifs when he can destroy them - and possibly your emotional state - with a word.

pretend that u don't love the way u say u do. try 2 act cool around him. become his friend, and u c if u want 2 come forward w/ ur feelings. precede w/ caution when it comes to L-O-V-E

talk to him and get to know him well as a friend first find out his likes and dislikes and see if this is who you really want to be with if it is go for and he might feel the same way but even if he doesn't he might still be your friend

Go ask him. Just understand that guys won't think any less of you if you ask them out, they might think more of you. Guys find it a relief when a girl asks him out.
